Trumpets in the NT

    A long time ago [back in the last century!] I was attempting to do a study of the use of trumpets in the NT.

    One source stated that the events concerning the "last trumpet" in I Cor 15:52, and the events concerning the "sixth trumpet" in Rev 9:14 are one and the same.

    I'm not sure that I'd agree with that statement, but I can't be positive about it either.

    I'd appreciate reading your comments about this particular issue as well as why (or why not) that statement is an accurate one.

    IMHO the events of the last trump of 1 Cor 15 correspond to the 7th trumpet of Rev 11:15 and also the trump of God of 1 Thes 4.

    Seven is last to six is it not being there is not an eighth?
