Do any of you have a hernia?

At what point do you do anything about it?

At these points I would want to get it fixed:

    Is it restricting mobility?
Are there any other complications from it?
    Is anything being constricted?
Has surgery been recommended by a doctor?

It is usually an easy and complete fix, is there a legitimate reason for delay?

I have had hernia surgery twice (15 yrs ago and about 2 yrs ago).

I chose to have it repaired at first onset, as I was told it won’t get better and can only get worse. I worried about restricted blood flow and other complications that could occur if left untreated and the doc recommended not to put it off. Anyway, the second time it was laproscopic. It wasn’t bad at all, quick recovery. I took a pt test - push up, sit up, and run - a month later even though I was not supposed to (men don’t always think things out, but I had no issues).
