    ..... who seems that about 90 - 95 percent of these so-called "New Posts" are in reality OLD threads of some 3 - 5 years ago?

    Granted, my memory probably is not as good as it used to be, but IMHO most all of the subjects that I read about in these so-called "New Posts" are practically word-for-word the exact same as the ones that appeared about 3 - 5 years ago.

    Please tell me where I am totally incorrect in this observation of these so-called "New Posts"!!!! :BangHead:

    Maybe you could link to some of them so we would know what you are talking about.

    Since I am not as computer savvy as perhaps some on BB are, I do not know how exactly one "links" to some of these "New Posts."

    OTOH, perhaps one could look up some of the BB archives of some 3 - 5 years ago, they would most likely see why I wrote what I did in the OP. :thumbsup:

    That's the joy of growing older. Less stuff is new, especially when you're only dealing with one topic. Baptists. LOL
    If someone thinks of something that hasn't occurred to someone else in the last, oh, few THOUSAND years, that would be impressive.
    Just goes to show how dull most of us are - rehashing the same things that have been debated for centuries, and actually still finding them interesting. Isn't that peculiar....

    I suppose that Brother Solomon was right when he wrote Ecclesiastes 1:9-11!

    (If you don't know what that passage says, look it up in whatever "divinely-preserved" you may choose to do so!!) :smilewinkgrin:

    I suppose verse 18 is a good argument that we may want to be, and justifiably should be, willfully ignorant. Someone brave enough to go put that up in the debate section? *pounding desk laughing* :laugh:

    I think when people post on them, it brings them to current status, and new posts, meaning the ones just posted, not initially

    All you have to do is click on the post # at the top right of the post, and then copy the address that shows at the top of your browser and post here.

    For instance, this is post #1 that you posted;

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=91265

    If you can't do that, then tell us the thread title so we know which post or thread you are talking about.

    or you can do what I do from time to time - I go back to some of my posts from years ago and add a new comment which brings it back to the top. For example this one: Rope of Sand check the date to see when I made the OP!

    IN addition - BB constantaly gets new members - so to them - a post is brand new to them, but old for us.
