The report essentially provides the evidence of the truth that has been leaking out since the hearings in both houses of Congress began. As this is the Senate report, it can be logically assumed that it has been sanitized and watered down by the self-appointed -- and strong-armed -- apologists and protectors of the traitor occupying the White House. Nonetheless, the Great Pretender's allies calling Benghazi "preventable" isn't the best news he could get regarding the conclusions of the report. The House, undoubtedly, will issue a much more scathing report.

Let the spin begin, particularly from the resident al-Qaeda denier who claims it doesn't exist.

Hard to hide this sort of finding.

    NY Times:
WASHINGTON — A stinging report by the Senate Intelligence Committee released Wednesday concluded that the attack 16 months ago that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, could have been prevented, and blames both American diplomats and the C.I.A. for poor communication and lax security during the weeks leading up to the deadly episode.

The report...is unsparing in its criticism of the State Department for failing to provide adequate security at the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, first American facility to be attacked that night and where J. Christopher Stevens, the American ambassador, died.

“The committee found the attacks were preventable, based on extensive intelligence reporting on the terrorist activity in Libya — to include prior threats and attacks against Western targets — and given the known security shortfalls at the U.S. Mission,” the Senate committee said in a press release.

The report also shows that the New York Times lied. Hillary will walk on this one because she is part of the Obama team. She did not answer the phone at 3 AM but then maybe she thought it was for Bill.
