From what I read the problem is going on in several states. OR is a flaming liberal state run by Portland and Eugene liberals. The folks at the bakery had to close shop and run it at home by phone now.

We ain't seen nuttin yet along this line.

"How does my getting married in a gay wedding affect you? It doesn't!"

That is the argument. Which is an argument that obviously has a very large answer and this is just one of them.

I think everyone should be happy when a man and women get married.

Now, I see inmorality when 2 people of the same gender try to get "married"

Now, if I may play devils advocate.

So, suppose this couple had a religious belief against inter-racial marriage - and thus refused to bake a cake for a white woman and black man who wanted to get married. Would we feel the same way?

That's what they want you to compare to so they can use that argument. It's immorality not race......apples and oranges.

But do some honestly believe that inter-racial marriage is inmorral? and if so - should they have the right to choose their customers?

Are there other legiminetn reasons that a person should have the right to whithhold servicing a cusotmer?

Does this clerk have the right not to sell certian items?

Bottom line - with the cake - there are plenty of other bakerys they can go to.

All interracial marriage is immoral. Those racing toward heaven should never never consider marrying those on the race to eternal destruction.

That would be marriage involving two different people groups. There is only one physical race, the human race. The concept of 'race' is a man-made division that falsely divides the descendants of Adam and Eve.

Call it what you want - but if a person has a honestly held belief? Should he be made to violate his faith?

But I will accept this dictionary

Then why not this definition for 'gay' http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gay ?

My problem with this issue is why anyone would want to support any business who would 'discriminate' against them?

Why not just do their stupid cake? Give them their cake and let them eat it too. I would misspell a word on it. Or I might add too much salt. There are any number of ways to covertly mess the order up. That way they wouldn't be back to do business with me.

About 25 years ago, I came to the realization that the mark of the beast is a symbolic mark.

In other words, it's a yielding of the mind or the member to the works of the beast. No one will be able to buy or sell, unless he either agrees with the beast (the mark accepted on the head), or he simply keeps his mouth shut and does what the beast says (the mark accepted on the hand).

Free enterprise was destroyed by the 1965 Civil Rights Act. It needs to be overturned. People have the freedom to contract with whomever they wish, and to refuse to contract with anyone for any reason.
