Me and my wife just saw Lone Survivor. While the language was raw and expected, it was a great movie. It really gives you and first person perspective of what Marcus Luttrell and his fellow soldiers went through. I recommend it to all except children. It is another movie that shows us how blessed we Americans are to have men like these protecting us everyday.

While I've heard nothing but good things about it, I just don't know if I could sit through the language.

Not that I'm a prude, mind you, but because "that word" used to be a part of my own vocabulary and I try to avoid it now at all costs - including hearing it.

I wish they could have made a PG-13 version for some of us because I know it's a great story.

I work around these guys all the time and I get used to it. But I know what you mean, Maybe you can wait until they put it on TV when they might block the F word.

To be honest, I was so caught up in the action that I didn't even notice most of the language.

I listen to Glenn Beck a lot and, if you listen to the show, then you know that Marcus Luttrell is on the show all the time. Because of that and ,because he seems like a good guy, I was eager to see the movie.

I enjoyed it a lot and that they did a good job illustrating the camaraderie in a way that most war movies don't.

My only criticism of the movie is that it seems like it ended very abruptly, as though they just ran out of ideas and decided to stop.

As an ex-combat officer and combat rotary wing pilot, I have to say, I don't think a PG-13 version would do the story justice. Yes, the language is raw, but the language is part of the intensity and difficulty of the circumstance. I talked like that, too. I don't now, and I didn't have to become a Christian to quit. I didn't live the intensity anymore, so it was no longer necessary.
