3:16 is one of my favorite. It is talking about a premature baby, who dies in the womb.
When we said goodbye to our last son, who died at 5 months in the womb, I read this passage to her.
    It was comforting.

Keep a guard on your mouth please. Just about all modern English versions have "Rahab" in the text as in 9:13. Even old commentators such as Matthew Henry and John Gill refer to Rahab in those verses.

Who hides a newborn child in the ground? What a garbage version!

    Job 3:16
    16 Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been;
as infants which never saw light.

A little context is given, here, in the Bible.

    Job 3:16
16 Or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants that have not seen the light.
    (Darby)

    Job 3:16
16 Or why was I not as a hidden stillborn child,
as infants who never see the light?
    (ESV)

    Job 3:16
16 ethir as a thing hid not borun Y schulde not stonde, ethir whiche conseyued sien not liyt.
    (WYC)

Pretty obvious this is not a "newborn", but a stillborn, who never saw light.

    Nonsense version!

Prophet - weigh the consequences of attacking translations of God's Word. You do so and you will be gone from the BB. This is not allowed.
