Some KJV editions beginning in the 1700's and some present KJV editions updated the spelling of "neesings" just as "neesed" at 2 Kings 4:35 had been updated to "sneezed."

    Job 41:18 [see also 2 Kings 4:35]
    sneesings (1784 Piguent)
    sneezings [1762, 1763B Cambridge] {1747, 1760, 1763, 1764 London} (1954, 1957, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1988, 2008 ABS) (1948 WSE) (1968 Royal) (1975 Open) (CSB) (RRB) (WMCRB) (1983, 1984, 1994, 2010 ZOND) (1984 AMG) (1987, 1988 IBS) (LASB) (KJRLB) (LPB) (EB) (E-R) (ASB) (2012 Biblica) (1833 WEB) (1842 Bernard) [NKJV]
    sneezes (1991 AMG)
    neezings {1750 London} (1700 MP)
    neesings (1769 Oxford, SRB) [1629, 1760, 1769 Cambridge, DKJB]

Really? The Geneva has the word "Umpire" there? Interesting. How far back does that word go? --I know google is just a click away.

To leave out mercy is wrong. See also the NLT rendering:"It whirls down on them without mercy..."

Here is another place where merely saying the secret of God is inadequate. God's intimate friendship is much better as the NET Bible also renders it.

The KJV is insufficient here. The HCSB is similiar to the NIV here:"they chase my dignity away like the wind.

No,not simply God removing them. He woos them ---draws them.

ESV : He also allured you out of distress
NASBU : He enticed you from the mouth of distress
HCSB : He has lured you from the jaws of distress

GW : Their young grow strong and grow up in the wild

Or in the open fields as other translations have it.
The KJV has the wrong bird!

Darby: The wings of the ostrich beats joyfully
NET : The wings of the ostrich flap joyously
HCSB : The wings of the ostrich flap joyously
NLT : The wings of the ostrich flaps her wings grandly
I don't know how the revisers missed this one.

ESV : Will traders bargain over him?
NASBU : Will traders bargain for him?
HCSB : Will traders bargain for him?
GW : Will traders bargain over it?

HCSB : they withdrawl because of his thrashing
NET : at its thrashing about they withdraw
Both the ESV and NET have the exact wording as the NIV here.
