As he says that we deny the geological records of layering, aging, and we deny dinosaurs even existed!

he states that only biblcal position to hold is theistic, that Godcreated and use evolutionary process for life!

    Well?

It's Pat Robertson. His antenna doesn't bring in too many stations, if you know what I mean. He's a couple of Bradys short of a Bunch, if you get my drift.

Stupid as you say he is, look what his life has accomplished compared to yours.

Now JD that was a fair criticism. I am not a "fan" of Pat Robertson, but I suspect that you don't know him well enough either.

I'm waiting for an answer. Hatred and mocking Pat Robertson and then asked how YOUR life compares is not "unprovoked insult". We'd all like to know how you see yourself compared to Pat.

    Waiting.

No matter what, Robertson criticized those who believe the Bible is true. That's a problem.

No Ann, he criticized one sub group of people who consider the scriptures to be true.

Well, since there are huge contradictions between the belief in evolution (even theistic evolution) and how the Bible states the world started (and Jesus confirmed Himself), I'd say that it's not a subgroup.

    Not at all, Annsni...

Robertson disagreed with one 'interpretation' of the Bible. As it happens, Mr. Robertson is correct in his thinking.

"Tradition" is not the sole determiner. Ask the Pharisees.

    Ann,

I will say again. I am not a contributor to the ministry of Pat. In this article and video clip, I did not hear him address evolution at all. He simply addressed the age of the earth issue.

    ** It is a non-abelian group

I would suggest, Archie, with respect, that it is not "tradition" that leads us to interpret the Genesis account as strictly literal, but is necessitated by the nuances of the language therein.

I believe Genesis 1:3-31 in conjunction with John 11:9,10 speaks of Gen 1:3-31 as being 6 twenty four hour periods / days.

However prior to Genesis 1:3 darkness was upon the face of the deep on the earth which at that moment was without form and void. Darkness was already here on the earth. What darkness.

I propose it was the following Darkness.

    To open their eyes, and to turn from darkness to light, and the power of Satan unto God, from Acts 26:18 and I removed the words not present in the Greek. --- Darkness and Satan are synonyms and it is the same darkness/night spoken of in John 11:10 that the light was divided from in Gen 1:4. Satan that old serpent the devil, the great dragon Rev 12:9 has what power? Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Satan, Darkness and Death was present on the earth in Genesis 1:2 What had he cause to die? Was he instrumental in causing man to bring death upon himself through lust?

Do any of you think there may have been something dead and decayed under the crust of the earth in Genesis 1:2: If yes, what? Flora and or Fauna?
