    Here is one article by Rev. L. K. Landis which asserts that Patrick indeed held to Baptist doctrine and practice.

    The third link is accurate. There are only two extant writings of Patrick, all the others are myths and legends. There is no doubt that Patrick was a born again believer with an exemplary missionary heart, but nothing in his own writings come close to indicating that he was in any form a Baptist, either in name or in practice.

    He is one of my heroes of the faith and a challenge to me, but I don't think there is any way to back him as a Baptist brother.

    Pat lived around the 5th Century - the Church of England did not come aobut until the 15 centruy

    Baptists don't hold the market on missionary activity. :)
