The third link is accurate. There are only two extant writings of Patrick, all the others are myths and legends. There is no doubt that Patrick was a born again believer with an exemplary missionary heart, but nothing in his own writings come close to indicating that he was in any form a Baptist, either in name or in practice.

He is one of my heroes of the faith and a challenge to me, but I don't think there is any way to back him as a Baptist brother.

 

Wouldn't he had been a catholic, or a State Church like Angilcan?

 

Baptists don't hold the market on missionary activity.
