We already have an OP about this, so I thought I'd take the issue one step further and conduct a poll as to what you'd do if you were in a position or business and asked to do ANYTHiNG that went against your beliefs as a Christian!

This doesn't go for just gays, but it could involve serving alcohol; providing an abortion pill, etc.

I'd have no problem selling alcohol or cigarettes, but then I don't believe either to be inherently immoral.
And theoretically, if I was in a position to sell birth control, I probably would as I'm not sure I'm convinced that it's the same as abortion.

I would not do anything to sponsor a wedding between a gay couple.
Now, "unequally yoked" or unbelieving couple is a bit different. I could see a pastor not agreeing to marry them and would agree with the decision, but I would take pictures for them if I was a photographer. I'd bake for them if I was a baker.

I support the right for others to opt out of these things on moral grounds, though. Just keep the government out of it, period.

Well said! What an impressive thinker you are questdriven, especially for your age, 20-21 right?

I'm in Arizona and have been hearing all kinds of arguments against this bill by young people who are claiming that in the Name of Christ we should not support this, what they call the hateful "Arizona LGBT Discrimination Law". We need more Christians like you.

In agreement with what you said and to add my thoughts:

Personally, neither would I do anything to sponsor a wedding between a homosexual couple. I will also support the right of religious freedom for others to opt out of such things on moral grounds. I too believe the government should keep out of it and frankly think it proves our legal system is corrupt that we would have to try to pass laws of protection to keep us being sued for exercising our freedom of religion rights while it is being disregarded that we should already be protected under our constitutional rights. What I see as equally troubling is baby Christians taking up the agenda of those making these arguments designed to conform us to ways of the world and are enabling them to force us to assume the role of providing service for their celebrations and rituals.

IF your pastor EVER conducted a gay wedding, he just lost his crditials to preach for the Lord jesus, should resign, and if not, you should leave that church NOW!

I have never been in sales, but I don't necessarily have a problem with alcohol or tobacco, though people make bad choices all the time.
