    Is this serious?

Of course you can be against his policies. Being against his policies is different from calling him all sorts of names and dishonoring and disrespecting him.

I don't think BO is anti Christian. I just don't think he cares about any faith based believing. I see him as extremely liberal, self promoting & completely secular. So yes, when he does stuff NOT IN THE BEST INTERESTS of the country, its a duty of all concerned citizens to oppose him.

Interesting that when the Liberals daily accused pred Bush of being war monger, killing babies, destroying nature etc, that was all proper, but when Coservative rali against pres Obahma plocies, they ALWAYS see due to being bigots, against blacks!

sad to say, many black clergy and laity say same thing!

So was your question intended to get answers to the question or to give you an opening to complain about double standards?

There's a difference between criticizing his policies/agenda, and calling him names and saying that you're criticizing his policies/agenda. You can criticize what he does without criticizing him, or the office which he holds. It's a fine line.

He's not anti-Christian. If you don't like the man that's fine, but you discredit yourself when you try to make your opponent out to be something he is not.

he holds that all religions are "valid expressions of faith", that he thinks holding to jesus death as atoning for sins not right, as he does not think God condemns those sincere in other faiths, and we know how he stands on abortion and gay rights and other social issues!

he would be a social Gospel christian, liberal left wing christian, in My opinion!

You ain't heard me complain about you getting onto the President about his policies. The only time I've got anything to say about you and his policies is if you make it personal. Lots of Christians have made it personal.

    Well....

You can be against anything you want, in fact feel free to do whatever is neccessary to bring this Obahma guy down, whomever Obahma is?

Now when if comes to the president named Obama, you still have the right to say what you feel. However, I think everyone in this world, especially the church should never say anything about another, that they would be afraid or ashamed to say to that person's face, or to their face, surrounded by a group of strangers as well as acquaintances!

Begging the question: where did you get the impression that a Christian must support Barry's policies?

    Huh?

WHy not just accept that there are Christians across the board and let their identities be governed by their adoption by Christ instead of their affiliation with some end of a political spectrum?

I swear some of yall care entirely too much about politics.

The social agenda of the church should be the Great Commission. Deal with THAT.

Its NOT either/or, its more like both, as Jesus and his kingdom work is indeed top priority, but also called to be good citizens, and preserving culture where we can thru the legal means outr constitution grants us to have!

Fir i desire to leave here with a nation whose standards and morals reflect more what it used to for my kids!
