I hope he repented of his ways before he died. His Primitive Baptist or extreme hyper-calvinism was not correct, but his deep hatred for others made me seriously question his salvation as the Bible makes it clear that a child of God should be marked by the fruits of the spirit. Some authors will argue that those without good works will enter heaven just without any inheritance of rewards, but based on the Lordship view Phelps was no question a false convert.

While it is true God is judging america and certain events I believe are a part of the judgment, Christians need too evangelize with not only their lives and testimony as salt and light, but also by obeying Mark 16:15 and the Great Commission. Thoughts?

My thoughts? My thoughts on Fred Phelps cannot be written on this board.

However, I am not his Judge - God is. I have no authority to say where he is right now.

I can say this - whether he was a Primitive Baptist or a Hyper-Calvinist means nothing to me nor to God. God isn't going to ask us these questions when we meet Him.
