Probably most do not vote at all. Americans are known for their ignorance of geography.

Thanks for the nonsense, meaningless post.

    No kidding!

Let's look at the article, shall we?

we asked a national sample of 2,066 Americans....

The less people know about where Ukraine is located on a map, the more they want the U.S. to intervene militarily....

only 13 percent of Americans supported using force....

The survey should have listed the mistaken locations of Ukraine where people were most likely to want to use force. If people thought Ukraine was located in Greenland or the arctic, yeah, they probably would endorse military action, figuring the US military could easily kick butt in those areas. If they thought Ukraine was located in India, maybe they didn't endorse military action. We just don't know.

The statement, "The less people know about where Ukraine is located on a map, the more they want the U.S. to intervene militarily...." is ambiguous. Are they implying that if someone thinks Ukraine is located in Australia, because it is further away than thinking Ukraine is in India, then the survey respondent is more likely to be in favor of military force?

This is a stupid survey and article. FAIL.

Also note that 16% of Americans correctly placed Ukraine on a map. So, does that mean that none of these people advocated military force? Only 13% of respondents would use force, how many of them were in the 16% that knew the location of Ukraine? Article doesn't say. EPIC FAIL.

Why, anybody knows where Ukraine is. It's way up northwest where Jack London set a bunch of stories about dogs pulling sleds and watching people freeze to death or fall through ice and drown, leaving the dogs to tell the stories.
