What an amazing world we live in! ;)

BTW - When my daughter was so ill and the doctors said they didn't know what else to do for her and we though we were going to lose her, my husband and another deacon came and prayed over her, anointing her with oil. The doctor ran to my husband the next day when he got to the hospital and said "Something changed and she's better!" Not once EVER did any of us ever think to attribute this to my husband or Jim. It was God, 10000%!!! HE healed her. And the doctors and nurses all know it.

This might as well be some tom-foolery, vodoo, witchcraft type stuff. The Catholic Church should be ashamed of itself that it seems to deify the Pope and the croonies in the church over and over again while not even having Jesus seemingly as an afterthought.

The only way to break this trend is to preach the Gospel that reinforces Jesus, not the Pope or any other foolishness coming out of the Catholic or any other church.

Me thinks You Should Proceed with Caution!

Knowing that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is an unforgivable sin would make me want to proceed with caution when it comes to criticizing something that may or may not have been of God!

There is so much about the Holy Ghost and the things. He can do through His supernatural abilities, that no matter how ridiculous something may sound to you, if it is a miracle or act of God, it is always wise to err on the side of the supernatural!

What could be more strange that the Son of God (John 9:6), spitting into the dirt below, then mixing the spit and dirt into a mud slush and placing it on the eyes of the blind man? We all know the results of this strange event.

I mean, Jesus could have spoken the blindness away; or touched the man's eyes and caused sight to return! He could have laid His hands on the man's shoulders or head and prayed, causing the blindness to be no more!

So, what's He do ... He does what some may have considered as strange and as unhealthful as things may be, and uses a spit slush to heal the blind man?

Thus, I would be careful in judging any methods God uses to manifest a miracle. We need to do no more than listen to the facts, and give God praise. After all, only God and that person knows the truth as to this life changing event

Was it the Pope ... don't know and don't really care? Was God working through the Pope, that is possible, and it is no different than God working through one of us to manifest a miracle?

You ask how we should combat such things, or if we even should? I say, let it be!!! Lest you run amok with denying the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in this miracle!

The Pope was dead at the time. So was the Pope speaking from the afterlife to this woman?

The miracle is attributed to the Pope - not to God. In order for a dead person to be made a saint, 2 miracles must be attributed to them AFTER death. Attributed to a dead person. The miracle was caused by the dead person, according to the RC church.

ONLY GOD Himself, Father/Son/Spirit can even do real miracles, and to subscribe that a dead person, who might not even have been saved, but now in hell, can do that is blasphemy!
