These storms aren't huge, but our brother JamesL lives in that area. There were at least three tornadoes confirmed, two on the ground, in the area of Avondale, Missouri, where he lives. This post is being made at 5:36 p.m. CDT. For the next couple hours, please pray for brother James and everyone else in the path of the storms.

Most of the activity is in Missouri. We do have some moving up I-35 toward the Kansas suburbs. I live northwest of the "B" in Belton on that map. I think it will miss us.

    Thanks, brothers and sisters.

For those of you watching the race at Kansas Speedway, the lighter rain on the south side of that storm moving northeast is probably going to clip the track at about 6:45, and there is another cell moving up I-35 that will probably hit sometime around 8:30. Sorry.

    TND,
I really appreciate your thoughts, and the request for prayers on me and everyone else in the northland. I also appreciate anyone else who thought to pray.

I was totally oblivious to the severity of the weather, and surprised when it started raining here.

Right now I'm in Independence, picking up my son from his mom's house. Heading back north in a few minutes.

Thanks again, brother. I'm really humbled by your thoughtfulness.
