Sometimes I get tired of seeing the multitude of threads on this topic and debates that never end around here. I had thought about asking a question on Creation Science Apologetics here, but I decided against it as it will somehow turn into a CAL vs. Armin debate. Do people ever tire of this debate? Are people aware of the many other topics in theology to debate?

    Good vs. Evil
    Bible Translations
    Biblical Creationism
    Spiritual Warfare
The Johanne Comma (in the KJV/NKJV)
    etc..

I'm rather sick of it as well.

I wonder if God is really pleased with all the division Calv/Arm creates.

I think i'm going to refrain from engaging in these kind of debates from now on.

It's like one person looking through clear glass, and describing the colors of the earth and the sky, and one looking through colored glass and trying to describe the same scene.

It will always boil down to the condition of man, and the nature of the Atonement.

    Always.

In fairness, many times when you post a new thread, you inject some element of Calvinist thought, such as how the Arminians are wrong for this, or how you didn't mention the doctrines of grace to a certain person you witnessed to....

Such as that puts the kindling into the BBQ pit

Then you just gotta know that someone's gonna make a comment about it

Its a Southern Baptist problem which could be easily remedied by having every Calvinistic Southern Baptist moving away from the SBC and starting their own churches or joining a Reformed Baptist Church.

Is there no room in the SBC for the doctrines of Grace?

Would love for that to happen..

but then they will demand sole ownership of S.W.B.T.S.....S.B.S...Golden Gate B.T.S.....

I say...let them have all of them.....give it to them....
And they can take Al Mohler with them.
They'll all be bankrupt within 25 years anyway, so fine....let'em have 'em...just LEAVE

Then us Arminians can rebuild again without them and do just fine....As long as they ensure they don't train their ilk to invade our churches and poison our flocks because they can't actually build churches from the ground up....it's MUCH EASIER to convert an Arminian flock than to actually plant a church...

So, I'd let 'em have every seminary in the convention as long as they can promise never to attempt to poison the pulpits of a non-Calvinist Church again......good riddance.

Actually, I was looking for your understanding of what it means.

I don't follow links, as I have very rarely found them to be worth the effort, and besides... those are not the people I am speaking to.

Just give me your short version, please.

Speaking of understanding...it appears you don't understand plain English.

    O.k....

    Here's my short version....

All actions are necessitated by pre-existing stimuli in much the same way as Atheistic Naturalism...

Not for the same reasons of course...but in largely the same way.
Instinct/ sin-nature/desires are necessary stimuli to perfectly predict the actions of any individual....

    I post educationally meaningful links.....

You may find that most "links" are not meaningful...but I don't post meaningless links...you'll have to do your homework for yourself. Outside of what I just said...and studying the link I can't/won't help you.
