Notice how bad this is...he offered to make the cake for them, but wouldn't put a statement on it affirming their marriage which isn't recognized by the state of Colorado.

He offered to make the cake.

They want to compel him to write letters on that cake to violate his faith.

My friends, we are out of our minds in this country. We have become what our founders opposed.

Yes, we are being saturated with this lately. You cannot turn on the TV or the radio and not hear the latest push for everyone normalizing same sex marriage and homosexuality in general. Will the church make a stand?

We sat back and allowed every manner of heterosexual sexual sin to be normalized into every form of media available today so why are we surprised?

First why do states have these so called civil right commissions? Everyone of them seem to be nothing but far left tools to advance their agenda.

Second I would go to jail before I did this. This ungodly perversion is only the tip of the iceberg. Folks are now fighting to have sex with children, marry multiple wives, and marry inanimate object.

By the way the entire purpose of the homosexual agenda is not to be able to marry but to do away with any marriage at all.

Congratulations ... you answered your own question.
Oh, but that's ridiculous! No one would ever do that just because the gays want same-sex marriage! You're introducing hyperbole into a "serious debate."

    [/sarcasm]
That's   Rev. Couldn't agree more.

Here's the whole problem - in my opinion.

So bakers can refuse service if a request if offensive ..... except homosexual requests, because apparently they get a special standard.

I wonder if Judge Spencer is a homosexual.

The gh3y movement is enjoying popular sentiment and their day in the sun. But if they keep it up, there WILL be a backlash....they'd do well to chill out. Ppl will only tolerate getting their noses rubbed into gh3yness for so long until they say enough is enough? Or will they?
Funny how being gh3y trumps the constitutional rights of others...in this case the baker.

This might get ugly for all believers to take a stand without fear of being jailed as Rev said or being sued. That said it might be the plowing for a wide spread revival if saints unite and say "enough is enough"......I hope.

I wonder whether it's homosexuals getting a special standard, or professing Christians being held to a stricter (discriminatory) standard. It seems like the ACLU would protect Black sensibilities, would respect Muslim faith, but for Christians? Park your faith at the door to your business. (And how soon will "business" extend to church and home?) Given ACLU's track record, can't say I'm surprised.

I'm curious what the ACLU would have to say if this was a black christian cake maker??

Now we are going to see if this guy is real or not. He took a stand and now we will see if he continues to stand. His options are to be fined and/or jail time, close his business, or move to another state while he holds to his standards or he can cave in and obey showing he was never real in the first place. I pray he stands by his convictions. My prayers for him.

Pointing out all the what ifs is not productive. What matters is this man's freedoms and rights in this matter and if he will stand strong on his conscience or was this a fluke he thought he could just do and no one would make a fuss. I pray he stands strong.
