    I had to go frame by frame on the play at second on Puig before agreeing with it. Triple play. Not hard to see how the 2B umpire thought Kipnis missed the tag.

    I was watching that game on TV and was yelling my head off. IIRC, the Twins lost that game 1-0.

    BTW, the guy that grounded out in the first one, Tom Bruansky, was a member of the Twins 1987 WS championship team and is now their current batting coach.

    (Notice how un-bulked up players were in the late 80's, early 90's.)
