    I know you said you can't receive PM's. Anyways do you have the book Four Views on Revelation in your basement? I hear it addresses and defends Preterism and I would like to hear a full defense and rebuttal from a scholar on this topic. Also I am not sure of the diff between a Progressive and Classical DISP in their view on Revelation. Thanks..

    I own the book, thanks to a Godly friend's gift, and having read it must note that my eschatology came out the same as it went in, also that I consider end times theology - though important - to not be one of the fundamentals. However, reading through the book brought me to two conclusions:

    1. Within each of the four positions, there is a wide range of differing interpretations. None of the four views are close to being monolithic.

    2. For each of the four, there are both supporting texts and problematic texts, and usually numerous examples of each.

    I see. I can't buy any books at this time unless they are SS related but I can receive free books or gifts. I don't expect my eschatology to be changed just being made more aware of the Preterist and the diff between the dispensational camps.

    Pretierism, at least the full blown version, denies second coming and bodily resuurection, so is heresy!

    The main difference between classic/prog Dispy in their eschatology seems to be that classic upholds strict difference between israel/Church, so Pre trib rapture, while many in Prog seem to have an historically pre mil position now...
