    Easy peasy, I give a word and two (or three!) pronunciations of it, and you say which one you use and think is "right".

    And so on.

    It'll be easy to tell who the Yankees are. :tongue3: Kidding!

    My pet peeve: Miz-OO-ree or Miz-OO-rah?

    Obviously it's Miz-OO-ree but one of our former U.S. Senators got the whole country pronouncing it wrong.

    Oh goodness I've never heard the word o.o
    It would seem that Wonganui would make more sense but you never know with foreign words lol.


    How about "Roof"? Do you say the OO's like moose or like hoof?

    I say "roof" either way. I'm not sure why I got with the OO sound one time and the UH sound another.

    No one every offered an opinion on the pronunciation of "Missouri" that I posted earlier, either.
