I know there is a book section, but I don't know how much traffic there is in that forum, so I thought this might be the best place.

I have an issue on my hands. I have quite a few books that I no longer read. A mix of theology, writings against other denominations or cults, things such as that. A few devotional type, misc, etc

My issue is that I moved last November to a small house with a damp basement, and no room in the house. I just went to the basement and noticed mold on the spine of one cloth-covered hardback.

I live in the Kansas City Northland, and would be glad to give them to anyone who will use them.

Its not a huge selection, I've given many away already. Probably 100-150 books. If anyone is interested, I can list them.

Please do email me the pics as it may take a long time to type out 150 book titles.

I might be interested. I already have a pretty large stack in my "to-read" pile, but more can always be added. Or maybe give something to the youth group.

I'm always in the neighborhood for some new books. If there is a list, I'd be happy to see it.

I took pictures of 7 stacks of books and sent them to my email address. But I haven't the foggiest idea how to get those pics here. I sent them to Evangelist. If anyone wants to PM me an email address, I'd be happy to forward them.

BTW, as I already mentioned to Evangelist....the books are totally free, but I don't have unlimited funds for shipping. That's why I posted that I'm in the Kansas City area, figuring I could drive them somewhere.

If someone wants some, but simply has no money to spare for shipping, I could probably afford to ship 10-15 of them

I counted 107 books, plus some small booklets. Also, some of these books were on my "Not Suggested Reading" shelf when I had them in book cases

I can list the titles later tonight, too.

Send them to me, James. I'd be interested (and I'm probably closer than anyone else) plus I know how to put them on the board.

    Thanks James.

I mentioned the two books I want

Handbook on Todays religions Josh McDowell
The Roman Catholic Controversy James White

The rest seem more biblical studies and historical theology oriented which are not my field of study.

Yet many in the 'church' believe this nonsense, a thing many of us preachers combat.

I hardly find it jovial, but instead find it a travesty (2 Timothy 3-4) and something rather to be mourned. Bad preaching and teaching has lent itself and has facilitated such beliefs even from so-called baptist churches.

This isn't novelty or a circus, it's real life and I see no hilarity in any of it.
