This subject of whether babies that die go to hell comes up quite often, I thought it might be interesting to take a poll.

    The choices will be;

#1 All babies that die go to hell

#2 All babies that die go to heaven

#3 Elect babies go to heaven, non-elect babies go to hell

    #4 Other, please explain

    I voted other.

I believe all babies born, will need to be born again in order to see, enter and or inherit the kingdom of God.

Don't know about going to heaven unless that be the same.

I don't know. That said, #3 is axiomatic, of course anyone elect goes to heaven regardless how you believe election occurs (though an Arminian talking about a baby being elect is confused/inconsistent). The question is are all babies elect or non-elect. I have no idea.

Well, some folks believe that babies of elect persons are also elect and would go to heaven, while babies of non-elect persons would not go to heaven if they died.

Or, some folks believe babies are born either elect or non-elect, the elect babies would go to heaven if they died, the non-elect babies would go to hell.

What I am really getting at here is that some babies who die go to heaven, and some go to hell, as opposed to choices #1 and #2 where ALL babies go to either to heaven or hell.

Yeah I got your question. That's why I voted other. "I don't know."

I was just saying that your phrasing of option 3 was not very clear as all elect go to heaven and non-elect are condemned.

That's just being silly, especially if you understood what I was asking.

You know, you can only write one short line in a poll question, there is no room for detail.

I know that God is good and just and righteous in all that He does and that all those little babies that you like to put on that you're sooooo concerned with are in His good hands. IOW, I'm not the least bit concerned about the eternal destiny of little babies.

If you are not going to participate and vote, why don't you just go somewhere else?

Are you afraid to cast your vote?

How is it silly? To say that the elect go to heaven and the non-elect go to hell is stating the obvious. I'm just trying to say that a better way to phrase your 3rd option would be to say, "3. Some go to heaven and some go to hell" or "3. Some are elect some aren't."

He has created this thread for attention and to get off my ignore list. I thought I could avoid WinMan, but like the rabbits in Colorado they are impossible to dodge so WinMan is off my ignore list.

They go to Heaven because God is JUST and would not punish a baby that had no choice. WinMan often confuses Hyper Calvinism with Biblical Calvinism and there are no comparisons, but in WinMan's world of not reading books and remaining in ignorance, WinMan has failed to see that it is the Hyper's that say God has created people to be evil and determines and will's a person to go to Hell. Biblical Calvinists do not believe so.

I've been found out. I started this thread to get attention and get off Evangelists ignore list.

He thought he could ignore me, but like the rabbits in Colorado I am impossible to dodge.

My brilliant plan worked to perfection.

John, I simply was curious what everyone here believed. I voted first, so folks knew where I stood from the beginning.

You can vote any way you wish.

And for your information, lots of folks who are not Calvinists believe babies go to hell. Catholics believe babies that die before they are baptized to to hell, and I am sure others believe this way as well.

The baby died that Bathsheba had with David.....what was David's response to that baby's death? There is your answer.
