If you are reading this OP and attached article, when you are finished, please take a moment to pray for all those involved. Asking God's hedge of protection be around everyone, and if possible, to return a peaceful calm and presence to the town and its people.

If these riots continue, it will get worse. I remember Watts, and The Rodney King riots, and America does not need to have its moral fabric torn and pulled out from underneath her feet again over racial injustices!

Let's pray for the truth, no matter who it may point its finger at. Let it come forth. A if prosecution is warranted, that it be fair, and not based on public opinion, public outrage or anger!

This is one of those situations where the rotten apples in the basket are but a few in comparison to those who are not rotten to the core. Like you, I feel for the people and business owners in Ferguson, as this is the kind of stuff that nightmares are made of, and no American deserves this!

Having lived within 40 miles of Watts, and being a young teen, it was scary to see the California Guard blocking streets and thoroughfares leading toward LA. It looked like we were in East Germany, or something like that. And on top of that, my little brother and I were scared that our black neighbors might get involved, as well as our black friends at school.

I didn't understand at that time, that Watts represented a minority number of blacks, probably out for doing as much damage as they could and stealing all they could! Still, as we'd look out our windows at night, you could see, the glow of fires started in watts, and to kids, your imagination ran wild!

This memory is why I feel bad for the peaceful citizens of Ferguson. No one wants to see a riot break out, and most importantly; no one wants to have the riot come to their own backyard!

I know a lot of believers are praying, and like with you, I join my hands and prayers and believe this madness ends real soon! raying:
