Apparently the WH didn't tell us the truth on the person who got over the fence last week. First of all, no shock they didn't tell us everything ..... but how far this guy got that evening is a surprise and great intell for any terrorist group thinking of getting to the first family.

That is as sad as it is shameful. Ever since the secret service was merged with Homeland Security, the SsS has fallen down on the job, or lost its edge.

    What say you? :wavey:

I think that the Secret Service should be ordered to shoot to death any fence jumper.

But I thought the POTUS welcomed fence jumpers? ? ?

I guess that only applies to the 'other' people.

No, protection of the President of the USA from terrorists and criminals. Christians have the right of self-defense. Really, Use of Time, I wonder why you even bother to post on a Christian board since you express so much hatred of Christians?

Sounds like a dry run to me. And not necessarily by terrorists, jihadist or otherwise. But, could also be my movie imagination talking, too, or the guy had too much caffeine.

    You KNOW ....

I always thought that was a standing order? But, I have since discovered it would be a civil rights violation, and the WH would be in the same doodoo Ferguson is now in, for shooting an imposing threat!

At least Obama is consistent ......

I thought he had no regard for border security ... but it looks like he has no regard for security at the peoples house, where he is living on our dime!

I think that the order had been discarded and needs to be reinstated immediately.

Unfortunately, there are several newer members who pose this same scorn for those of us on the board. UoT and myself started out poorly, but we have a half-way decent relationship; at least I hope so?

Even so, I know what you mean. There are numerous members who show complete loathing, rancor and bitterness towards anything and everything most of us say! You'd think the moderators would help these folks along on their journey in life and remove them from the board.

I mean, If I were a moderator, and knew that there was a handful of members who had so much abomination for the majority of us,
"Good ol' boys, who love to slap each other on the back" that I'd ban them to protect them from falling DEEPER into sin [you know, the sin of contempt, abhorrence and name calling] of spiritual confrontation, provocation and verbal antagonism.

After all, if what we say causes another to stumble, let's help them out, by showing them the way out, of the board that is!

    That's Undocumented Visitor.
We have to be consistent in the "PC" world.

Kidding aside: No matter what you think of the president, Secret Service is supposed to be there to protect the office of president. I'm guessing there is some serious training going on about now.

The SS has not been the same since George W merged them with Homeland Security. And I don't feel so secure with DHS in charge. That department is new, and still not able to make a sound decision when it comes to securing our borders as well as the WH. I do not wish Obama bad, and feel the SS is doing a bad job!
