Homsexuality vs co-habiting oppisite gender

    Good discussion going on about attending a so-called homosexual wedding.

    Lets change gears a bit.

    Suppose you were a landlord - would you rent an apt to a opposited gender couple?

    Suppose you rented an apt to two girls - who said they were only roommates. Would you cancel the lease, would you refuse to renew the lease?

    In the other thread, Scartlet said But then again, I would also not (and have not) attended the marriage ceremony of a man and woman where the woman selfishly left her first husband and children to marry someone else and raise another woman's children.

    Would you attend that wedding?

    Wouldn't matter what you would do, you would get sued and be forced to rent to them.

    Sure I'd rent it, and wouldn't cancel. First of all it's none of my business, second of all, and most importantly, there are VERY strict federal laws about this kind of stuff. Openly discriminating against tenants is highly illegal and is a real good way to get sued real quick. You can't openly pick and choose based on age, sex, race, religion, or anything else. I'm sure people still discriminate but you can't be obvious about it whatsoever.
