Who is against showing an ID at Gun shows?

I've been to many gun shows and had to show a picture ID just to get in the door. I have to show my smiling mug to any of the vendors if I'm buying anything concerning a firearm. I need a picture ID at my local bank even though I pastor 3 of the 4 tellers. I need an ID to get into my workplace. I need a photo ID at the package store because you know how us gun toting rednecks like our beer. I need to show my ID when picking up prescriptions at Walmart.

This little cartoon is dishonest to say the least.

Another question would be: Who is saying that showing an ID at a gun show is violating our freedoms? Does the NRA? (I don't know...)

 

Good point. Anyone should have to show an ID for something really important, such as to buy a bottle of beer; but not for something as trivial as voting.

 

Along with those mentioned, many places I have been require that I show my ID to gain access to my own plane.
