Are the past three presidents and their leadership, especially the relaxing of border security, at fault for the shooting of three Northern California cops, two of which died?

Should the parties injured or killed by an illegal during the commission of a crime be allowed to sue the CIC for failing to enforce basic immigration laws? After all these laws are in place to protect citizens, and Clinton, Bush and Obama swore an oath to protect the citizens of this country?

What are your thoughts in suing to force the POTUS to secure our borders and deport those in the country illegally, regardless of how long they've flown under radar, or if they have families?

Our political leaders are gutless and Obama will open the flood gates after the elections. Yes they should all be deported but our lawless system has been going unchecked for so long nobody in congress wants to pull the drain stopper and send them packing ....except maybe Ted Cruise.

The system is not lawless, just look at the Immigration and Nationality ACT (INA) The problem is those at the top are not allowing the officers to do their jobs according to the laws of our land.

That's what makes the system lawless.

As an employee of the State of California from 1986 to 2000, I grew more and more disenchanted, frustrated and appalled at the way politics were mandating that my department ignored laws and statutes on the books regarding securing proof of citizenship and a copy of the person's Green Card before approving their application to run a child day care home or center.

By 1993, we were licensing anyone who had a heartbeat, and we were totally ignoring the laws of this state.

One example is, due to budgetary constraints, we were told to forgo yearly inspections of facilities, and make the yearly inspection visit every three years. Now, in 2014, my colleagues are making their yearly visit every five years.

As a mid-level manager, I made sure that I always noted in the facility file that after a review of the file, yearly visits were ordered to be done every three years by Sacramento.

This ticked off my immediate supervisor and the auditors, and they demanded I remove the notations. I defied them, telling them that my credibility was on the line, and that this was my opinion and my rational for approving my case study of a facility, which were completed yearly by unit managers, such as myself!

I told my boss that if he wanted to line that comment out and initial and date it, that was fine, but I was CMA.

It bothered me that legislature would write and pass laws and statutes and that our Director of Social Services would turn around and tell us to "just ignore it!"

This is one reason states and the nation are in deep, deep trouble!
