"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.…" Matthew 5:14-15 (ESV)

:wavey: What are you doing, present as well as future tense, to make sure you are:
    1) High enough up on the hill to let your light be seen far and wide?
    2) And that your light is lit every night to reach as far out in the darkness as possible? :wavey:

Excellent thought, even though its passive it has an active component - don't put anything in the way of the light.

Presumably the light is the persona of Jesus Christ shining through and out from these vessels of clay to the race of fallen humanity.

If all we ever do is show the world our adamic side in the way of the light then we have missed the point of our witness of Christ to the world.

    Thanks
