Every new GOP senator who won in last night’s election campaigned on repealing Obamacare.

Senators Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), David Perdue (R-Ga.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), James Lankford (R-Okla.), Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), and Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) all ran on a platform of repealing Obamacare.

Talk is cheap. Now if they'll follow through that's another matter. It's a wait and see.

This is a golden dangerous opportunity for the GOP.

For 6 years all they have said is "No".

The question now is have they forgotten or do they remember how to lead?

The answer to that question spells either great success or great disaster in 2016.

The next two years are going to be very interesting. Hope I live that long to see how it plays out.

I think the great responsibility is those GOP representatives who campaigned on this promise to now fulfill their word to the voters who trusted them to be men and women of their word.

I think also it is the electorate, our, responsibility to hold them accountable by emailing our Republican representatives and reminding them that we're counting on them to fulfill their promise.

    How to . . . contact U.S. Senators 113th Congress

They might have said no but they didn't really mean it. If they did Obama would have been impeached and Holder would be behind bars.

Ah, but doing what's right might look bad for them come election time. Better to play politics while the opposition torpedoes itself.

I doubt anything will change. Other than the name plates on the senate chairs.

On the flip side, it's obvious the Dems lost because they didn't run on enough gender and race issues.

Obama today already said He would veto a repeal and not cross the line on the mandate. What could the "New" Senate do? I saw Obama today and He was still defiant with a smug.
