This world age cannot last much longer are ready to meet Jesus to be "CAUGHT UP" (raptured) to meet Jesus in the clouds ?==For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.

Just how long have all these signs been here? I would have to say, from our perspective, since World War I. If that is correct, then obviously there is more to it than just seeing the signs. And recall that the Thessalonians in the first century saw those signs, too; so much that they wanted to arrange a gathering to meet the Lord. So don't think this world can't last hundreds or thousands more years.

The big signs of Jesus's near return was ISRAEL becomming a nation again may 15,1948 and Israel regaining control of Jerusalem 1967 the generation that sees ALL the signs Jesus named in Matthew is the generation that will bealive when Jesus returns IMHO. That generation is us. Are you ready to meet Jesus?

Wait, isn't there a red heifer and a blood moon too?

Rapture is well intentioned but wholly misguided, fear-based eschatology. Less Lindsay, Hagee, Ice, Jenkins and more Jesus.

"CAUGHT UP" is the rapture. I believe God's inspired(God breathed)Word and you??==15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. You believe God's Word. Good. Now can you show us from God's Word where Israel being a nation is a "big sign" of His soon coming?

Seriously, what did she do to deserve your scorn other than have a view not your own. Was there no better way for you to respond to her post?

Israel in bible prophecy is God's fig tree you do know that right?=="As Jesus sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
    Matthew 24: 2-6
So Jesus begins to tell them about how things will gradually heat up and increase until we reach the time that we call the Last Days. The Book of Matthew continues, giving more and more details and time clues until we reach the "big clue", the biggest one of them all. Stating in Matthew 24:32, Jesus says this:

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things
be fulfilled." Israel God"s fig tree put forth leaves may 15.1948 when after 2000 years it became a nation again.

Technically, it was planted in 1948. If it took 2000 years to be planted, how long does it take to grow? To put forth leaves?

I personally believe Christ could come back any second. Or, He could tarry for millennia.

If you think about it, we expect Him soon. But, "such an hour as ye think not". We expect Him now, so does that preclude His coming?

    This makes no sense.

Assuming that you meant that I was being unkind in my post to the OP writer, would you show me which of those words were written in such a bad spirit? I was actually trying encourage the writer about knowing God's Word. What I wrote as encouragement you took for snarkiness. Hmm.

Or is mere disagreement and iron sharpening iron, in itself, unpalatable to you?

If the last days didn't come until last century why did the writer of Hebrews write in the first century of "these last days".

"Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. " - Heb. 1:1-2

And to whom was Jesus speaking in Matthew 24? To the ones who asked the questions. It is to those first century Christians that He had given that promise and warning. He didn't just ignore their urgent questions and speak about a different group of people, a totally different time, a totally different age.

Think!! ALL the last days prophesy and signs Jesus named have come true in our day and could not have come true before our day. Do you really know what the prophesy and signs for the last days that God's word gives us?

Why not, while you are reading, continue on to vs. 36

"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father

That should put to rest any speculation that WE would have any idea when that time is near.

LOL!!! READ ON!! Jesus says believers will know when he is at the door ready to return.===

    Mark 13:29
Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door.

    1 Thessalonians 5:4
But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

Believe the bible, that's why I don't believe in a rapture separate from the second coming. Nothing in this passage indicates that there is a rapture separate from the second coming.
