Pentagon Says No Evidence Of Alleged Russian Military Incursion Into Ukraine

The Pentagon said that there is no evidence to confirm an alleged Russian military incursion into Ukraine, as claimed by Kiev's military Friday, when Russia was accused by Ukraine of sending dozens of tanks and artillery into the eastern regions of the country.

    http://www.ibtimes.com/pentagon-says-no-evidence-alleged-russian-military-incursion-ukraine-1721106

The Pentagon's spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby, says he has "no independent operational reporting" to confirm Kyiv’s claim that Russia sent an armored column into eastern Ukraine on November 6.

More unfounded allegations coming from Kiev?

    The Ukraine Who Cried Wolf:

Forget Baghdad Bob. Meet Luhansk Lysenko, the spokesman of the Ukraine military, and the guy who every single day floods whatever wires still care with the daily report of fighting, military invasions, and Russian troops entering the country, aka the proverbial boy who cried wolf.

There was a time when the merest hint of Russia military activity at the Ukraine border would do the unthinkable: challenged central planners and send stocks lower. Who can forget the market drubbing when the Russian humanitarian convoy was going to enter east Ukraine and allegedly carry a DIY army?

Well, those days are long gone. Because with Ukraine repeating day after day after day, how many Russian soliders have entered the country, how many artilery shells have landed, and how Putin is just salivating to invade the economically devastated country, everyone completely tuned out.

Video footage of Russian tanks in east Ukraine: US and EU concerned over troop buildup reports

I remember when I was a child and television news was about unbiased reporting and true journalism. Now it's partisan and corporate interests that control the information that's broadcast.
Who knows why this lack of interest by western mainstream media?
That's probably why the conspiracy sites and less than believable "news" sites pick up the slack and run with it.

It is what it is. It's outside our control so don't let it steal your joy. It's Russia. What would we do without the big bad wolf snarling now and then?
    Politics. Such fun.

Just watched the video you posted. 20 seconds into it the reporter plainly states the video of "Russian tanks" is unverified.

I'm confused here. First you state that what you call "conspiracy and less than believable news sites" aren't credible and then you seem to claim the "western mainstream media" is to biased and controlled to inform us properly. So I have to wonder why you feel qualified to shoot down conclusions that aren't your own?

What are your conclusions based on?

The news is now reporting that the NATO commander is reporting a massive Soviet invasion of Crimea and the border of Ukraine with forces that can be armed for nuclear warfare.

The NATO commander did not say that they had nuclear weapons but that their forces could handle such weapons. People are saying that such capability is a warning to Obama.

The reporting news agency in this instance is once again Reuters.

Doesn't look like Russian tanks entering Ukraine to me. Got any evidence of that this time?

This is like what the fourth, fifth, sixth time the Ukrainians and NATO have cried "Russian invasion" while offering no proof?

I'm wondering about something CMG. If and take note that I say if this turns out to be true would you still feel the same about supporting the Ukrainians?

MEDIA BLACKOUT AS U.S. SPONSORS GENOCIDE IN SOUTHEASTERN UKRAINE

Due to the Internet, this is the first genocide that is being documented in real time, as it occurs

    http://www.infowars.com/media-blackout-as-u-s-sponsors-genocide-in-southeastern-ukraine/

Now before you start in about not being able to trust social media sites and that infowars isn't a credible source of information, remember that Washington and the State Dept has admitted it's "evidence" of the many alleged "Russian invasions" and the shoot down of flight MH17 was based on the unverified "word" of "Ukrainian officials" and "evidence" the State Dept found on social media sites that anyone could have posted.

The only thing we know for sure that is going on with regards to what's happening in Ukraine is there is a propaganda war going on between Washington and Moscow. We've seen very little if any facts and evidence and a whole lot of allegations and counter allegations from all sides.

I feel I must remind you once again that an allegation no matter how many times repeated is not proof.

So what do you think poncho?

Putin is reportedly headed to the G20 with his Armada:

This might be another way of looking at Russian warships heading to Australia.

RUSSIA SENDS FOUR WARSHIPS TO AUSTRALIA NE COASTLINE IN ADVANCE OF G20 MEETING

Whether you’re a Russophile or a Russophobe, you gotta love Russian President Vladimir Putin’s latest response to Australia Prime Minister’s “shirtfront” comment.

Russia has sent four warships, including the flagship of their Pacific Fleet, to an area just outside of Australian territorial waters. What is especially significant about this location is that Brisbane, site of the G20 conference, is well within firing range of both the flagship and the accompanying destroyer.

With that single naval maneuver Putin handily outdid his Australian opponent. The word is that London bookmakers favored Putin’s superior geopolitical judo 10 to 1 as he went up against Abbott’s amateur boxing. Abbott has had considerably more to lose throughout this fight since he bore the added pressure of winning as the host country.

    < snip >

After Abbott falsely accused Russia of having a part in the shooting down of MH17 over the Ukraine, he said he looked forward to shirt-fronting Putin when he met with him at the upcoming G20 conference. The Guardian reported on Abbott’s diplomatic disaster as follows:

Tony Abbott says he will “shirtfront” Vladimir Putin over the downing of MH17, claiming his conversation with the Russian president at the G20 would be “the toughest conversation of all”.

The prime minister resorted to the Australian Rules football term for roughing up an opponent to describe his approach to Putin’s presence in the country next month.

“I am going to shirtfront Mr Putin – you bet I am – I am going to be saying to Mr Putin Australians were murdered, they were murdered by Russian backed rebels,”Abbott said.[1]

I think the idiots in the corporate sponsored think tanks, mass media and Washington have gotten away with destabilizing and looting small militarily inferior nations like Iraq, Libya and Syria for so long now they believe they can destabilize and loot Russia and China without dire consequences.

I think they are mistaken. So far Washington has gotten away with it's corporate imperial pursuits because the mainstream media has played a large role in demonizing the leaders of other nations and painting them as crazed madmen on power trips out to take over the world.

I think it's the other way around. It's those in the corporate think tanks and Washington that are the crazed madmen on power trips that are out to take over the world and those in the corporate media have been their cheerleaders the whole way. This is what the available evidence shows.

And I think Americans are being extremely naive to believe every rumor and allegation coming from Washington, NATO and the Ukraine coup government without evidence about the Russian's and the people in Ukraine that don't want to live under a Washington installed puppet regime.

Think about what we've been told. Iran will be better off without Mosaddeghh! Was it? Iraq will be better off without Saddam! Is it? Libya will be better off without Qaddafi! Is it? Syria will be better off without Assad! Would it?

So far every nation we've "liberated" has turned into a chaotic blood bath that we have to keep pouring more and more weapons and money into. The only ones who are better off now than when we started liberating all these nations are those who finance these interventions and those who supply the weapons.

That leads me to believe that president Eisenhower was right about the undue influence the military industrial complex has on our government.

I think Washington and the American people are in for a big surprise if we think we can do to Russia and China what we've done to so many militarily inferior nations. Russia and China have the ability to fight back where Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria and a host of other nations that Washington has done the regime change boogey in did not.

I think the Russians are being backed into a corner by Washington and it's NATO partners and I think maybe the Russians will come out swinging and we won't be so lucky to win this fight.

That's what I think Hank. Evidently the rest of the world thinks along the same lines or the United States wouldn't have been voted the number one biggest threat to world peace.

I think president O is afraid of Putin/Russia and his/their dream of "re-colonialism", and what they are willing to do to achieve it.

On the other hand I think the global press is happy to turn international world events into a three ring circus.

Only thing is that they too will be disintegrated in the "sun on the surface of the earth" fusion flash of "Tsar Bomba" (57 Megatons).

I hear about this "re-colonialism" and "Russian aggression" quite a bit lately Hank. Where's the proof? I have not seen it. If it is so certainly there must be evidence, where is it? It's the Russians that are the victims of Washington and NATO's aggression according to all the evidence I have seen.

As far as Obama goes he is a puppet. The real PTB who have been formulating this insane foreign policy for decades the corporate backed "think tankers" are playing a dangerous game of chicken with Russia and I doubt the Russians will be the ones to chicken out. Washington is to arrogant and filled with hubris to chicken out.

This could turn out badly for the whole planet. The people in Washington are insane and the corporate backed talking heads on the evening news aren't about to level with us about it. Instead they try to turn it all around to make Washington look like the guys wearing the white hats.

Focus on the evidence. Forget about the propaganda coming from all sides.

But Mr Putin puttered off before the end of the talks....was it the 40C heat, seeing Mr Abbot in his budgie smugglers, or everyone saying how unhappy he made them over the Malaysian airline disaster.....

Maybe it's just tiring being constantly accused of something by those who cannot provide evidence?
