The DCCC “has intentionally disseminated demonstrably false statements concerning Rush Limbaugh in a concerted effort to harm Mr. Limbaugh, and with reckless disregard for the resulting impact to small businesses across America that choose to advertise on his radio program” according to the GlaserWeil law firm’s letter to the DCCC, which was obtained by TheDC. “Mr. Limbaugh clearly, unambiguously, and emphatically condemned the notion that ‘no’ means ‘yes.’”

“Let’s be clear: Rush Limbaugh is advocating for the tolerance of rape” the DCCC stated in a September fundraising email after Limbaugh mocked Ohio State’s new mandatory sexual consent guidelines…

Sounds like he's getting a little bit of his own medicine. He takes the smallest things that his opposition says and makes a big point out of it. Now they are doing it to him.

    Roll with it.

He certainly can bring a frivolous suit. But he did say what they said he said. His lawyer even said he was being facetious.

It might be a lesson well learned in that while you think you're being facetious, if you don't say so to your national audience, you kinda invite people to make assumptions.

It should be dismissed without cause if it's filed.

I think you might just be a little giddy about the subject of the O/P.

He rammed it up the snout of Harry Reid once before, with gusto, when he auctioned off that letter to Clear Channel.

And that isn't sticking up for him, that's fact.

I don't like that fact that private citizens are libeled on the senate floor. I hope he wins, because he'll most likely donate the money to his charity, like he did with the millions he already made off Dingy Harry's attempts at pushing him around.

Naah. I place that evilly motivated Mormon , dear Harry, in the same boat with that incredibly evil Nancy Pelosi. Wouldn't trust either one of them farther than I can spit. And I'm from the South. We can spit pretty far.

But for the record, I think Harry Reid should have been run out of Congress years ago with his tail between the legs of his magic underwear.

He is a wicked, wicked man.

I agree, and FTR, Rush brings it on himself. But I will watch this, it is a newsworthy item.

Also, Catmommy, the link you provided uses combination of clips assembled by Media Matters For America, and a link that does not show what it says it does, as the Senator's basis for the letter. Can you tell me why it went nowhere ? You don't sound like a Media Matters type.

You do understand this means that you trust them "pretty far" right?
