If that is the one I am thinking of, by Erwin or Edwin Lutzer, it is a fantastic book. I read it better than 10 years ago, and at that time I told my wife that the USA was frighteningly close to how he described social/political Germany in the late 20s & into the 30s.

I seriously doubt you would regret reading it!

I think he is talking about the book, Hitler's Cross: The Revealing Story of How the Cross of Christ Was Used As a Symbol of the Nazi Agenda by Erwin W. Lutzer

I have had this book since February 2013 but have yet to read it. One of many books bought over the years that failed to read.

235 people have rated this book on Goodreads and 44 have written reviews.

    https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/54331.Hitler_s_Cross

The composite result is 4.21 out of a possible 5. The rating vary from 5's, great book, to 1's, trash reading.

I read several of the reviews. Some people really like the book, others really do not like it at all. If you are a fundamentalist you will probably like the book very much. If you are looking for verifiable assertions you will probably not like this book. From one review it appears he tries to draw parallels between Hitler and the fall of the German church with the decline of religion here in the states.

Good information or propaganda, I do not know as I have not read the book.
