Earlier this week, President Obama’s 10-point plan to use executive orders to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants hit the news.

The President has been threatening all year to use a pen and a phone to accomplish his agenda, bypassing Congress. How American has gone from a presidency that is intended to enforce the law to one that is assisting non-citizens in breaking the law is an unfortunate commentary in and of itself.

According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, President Obama has said previously he did not have the power to grant class amnesty. In September 2008, he told a Pennsylvania town hall:

“The biggest problems that we’re facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the Executive Branch and not go through Congress at all, and that’s what I intend to reverse when I’m President of the United States of America.

As the GOP has done nothing but oppose and not propose I don't blame the president. If I were in office I would use lots of executive orders. If Congress doesn't act, the president should.

Nature and politics hates a vacuum. If Congress creates a vacuum something, like the president, will fill it. The GOP has no one to blame but themselves.

Get real CTB! You and I both know that this is economic suicide. And if Obama brings these people on board as citizens, in any capacity, the illegals will never stop coming.

I am not against LEGAL immigration. In fact I support it 100%, but we have a procedure for immigration that has worked for hundreds of years, and now your man is willing to whip up a Constitutional crisis for what? Be cause he can? Because he is wanting to be relevant AGAIN, even if it means hurting these people in the long run?

Yes, hurt! You and I both know that the next president, if not this new Congress, will reverse this flagrant lawless act and in the end millions of illegals will tie up our courts for years as the new AG, in 2016 will have to deport them, crushing their dreams?

Sometimes I wonder if you are for real? Or simply so wrapped up in your liberal bromance with Obama, that you are Constitutionally blinded by illicit love?
