I'm new to the Forum world. I am fasting from Facebook for a while. It has been my venue for Theological discussion for the past 4 years. I am 11 years in Christ and hold a license to Minister the Gospel issued by a SBC Church.
I am currentlly, however, a member in the Primitive Baptist group.

I will stop for now as I just found out this box will time out without warning after typing several paragraphs. I am looking forward to some mutual "Iron Sharpening".

Welcome to Baptist Board! The page shouldn't time out for you - don't know why it did that but don't think it's the way it is around here. LOL :)

Thank You, I was probably being long winded and too transparent for the likes of the "Machine".

I don't think it is a time thing, but possibly a max number of characters are allowed.

    Salty

Characters?? so if you are talking about Crabby, Evangelist, Poncho, Rev Mitchell, Salty, and some other characters.....

Thank you Convicted1. I love Leviticus 16! What excellent typology of the work on Calvary. SDG

WELL, It's been a month of days and just over a grand of folk have stopped by to "see the new guy".

Either BB has no new members or could it be that the new members have viewed my page as saw that only 3 current members out of a "K" have bothered to "greet" them and realize this section is "a joke".

I'm gonna start a poll and see what the Mind of the Board is about removing this window for gawking at the newby with no intention of welcoming them:BangHead:

Hi T Alan I am new here as well! My name is Star and I am from Easton, PA. I joined because I am wanting to learn how to spread the Word of God online, and I figured joining a Christian forum would help me in my quest! I know a lot of people in today's generation are glued to their cell phones and their computers, so this needs to be a priority to reach them where they are.

EDIT: Oops, I just saw that this was a joke :-( Oh well, I figured I'd introduce myself anyway. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

You must be one of those kind of people who needs everyone to shake his hand.

A politician? No, I'm not that "kind" of person, other than that I don't know your meaning.

All this time you could have made that statement but, now Star says hello and instead of greeting her you deem it necessary to try and label me. tisk tisk Saggywoman.

This particular "box" is for greeting and welcoming. You know you closed a thread and moved it to debate because it wasn't "fellowship" in your eyes. Be careful or the admins here will have to do the same thing.

T Alan (or starviola - which one should I call you?)

You know that the moderators can only press a button and check the computer IP address of member and see you have multiple accounts. It's against the rules to have multiple accounts.

There are people here who do it and think we don't know and I don't know why the moderators don't always correct that since it is a rule .... but I am just giving you a head's up. As far as I know T Alan may be a name for some who has been previously here ... c'est la vie.

You thread on the Youth forum was NOT in the proper place. Neither you nor the members participating in the thread were discussion young people or their issues. It was a debate about segregation of ages in the church as far as teaching is concerned.

It indeed was not a fellowship thread.

As Saggywoman said, everything is not a fight.

I am not a moderator here, but I am at another forum. I moderate the Welcome/introduction forum.

You said that this is your first internet forum to be a member of.

Well, let me explain. The majority of people do NOT post on welcome/introduction forums. Whether that hurts people's feeling or not is not relevant TO their not posting.

Most people are just taking a quite drive-by to see who this person is and then they talk to them on other threads.

That's just how these things work on all forums. You might get one or two hellos but that's it.

It isn't personal. It isn't cause to get chip on your shoulder.

Saggywoman is one of the truest and kindest persons on this board.

She isn't going to fight with you over this.
