Defending Christmas

    Another poster gave me an idea which is to pray and perhaps write letters to schools and such defending Christmas and presenting the true meaning. Wow what a good idea. I challenge others to do likewise. Mail out letters and tracts and tell the real meaning of Christmas. Amen!!

    Just curious, did Cameron's new movie have any influence on your motivation?

    I am not sure that I understand the purpose of writing to schools. Perhaps it is better to stick with evangelism (unless I'm missing something, then perhaps not).

    What was Cameron's new movie?

    I will include tracts in my letters. A calvinist tract will be my best.

    I take that back. God uses all types of gospel tracts even non Cal versions. But my letter will be written. It's only the HSS that can convict of sin. I just preach the truth.

    Would we be seeing a different thread title if Cameron's movie would have been about how Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas?

    I did not see the film yet. But he is a leader in living Waters so it should be good.

    Ironic thing about Cameron's movie "Saving Christmas" is that it will only run through today. Yes, that's right--a movie about saving Christmas doesn't even make it to Thanksgiving!

    Plus, he tried to game the rating system at Rotten Tomatoes, the #1 internet movie review site. His plan backfired. He asked friends on his Facebook page to go to the site and give it positive reviews. The reviews started piling up, got over 90% positive reviews and then the rest of the world caught on to his ploy and swamped the site with negative reviews. It's now at 34% positive audience reviews with 8% positive reviews from movie critics.

    This may be one of the least artful holiday films ever made. Even devout born-again Christians will find this hard to stomach. --Chicago Tribune
