Reading some books on this topic in preparation for my article on the afterlife I see that authors do not agree with the topic on whether or not God's angels can help unbelievers because no evidence is found in scripture of such a thing. Other authors argue that God's angels can help unbelievers in the sense of saving them from death perhaps to give them more time to repent. Does anyone have an opinion on this one? No examples are found of this in the Bible so I am going to assume that devils can do good works and perform miracles to make people think that God was behind it. What say you?

Boble states that Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to assist those in Christ, while Satan and his demons are active in blinding the lost and the gullible saved with false miracles and false revelations!

I say that salvation is entirely a work of the Triune God. The Atonement of Christ, the drawing/calling/ giving of the Father, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I do not have room for angels in my soteriological understanding....it's already full.

An angel being an unbeliever does not even make sense

What is the link between Angels and the after life....and near death experiences?

Didn't Jesus state that angels carry the redeemed unto heaven?

    Or else escort them there...

Maybe that's it. Thanks. I just couldn't connect the two.

No I don't think it says any where in the Bible that angels escort people to heaven. Chapter and verse please

I think that he may be thinking of Lazarus ("Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom" in Luke 16:22). When we start researching Scripture to justify near death experiences it can get a little hokey.
