Former NBA star Charles Barkley called Ferguson looters 'scumbags' and said that 'key forensic evidence, and several black witnesses that supported Officer Darren Wilson’s story.'http://news.yahoo.com/why-charles-barkley-supports-ferguson-grand-jury-decision-163736319.html So not everyone has drank the Kool-aid

    So?

    Charles Barkley. Bill Cosby.

It's as though some of yall sit around waiting for a token black person to disagree with what you think the majority of blacks think, and then suddenly because the token black person agrees with you, then your POV has got to be right and their's has to be wrong. "

How about I say that Cher and Katy Perry, and Dan Savage and Kathy Griffin and Charlie Sheen and Seth Rogen are white and they disagree with Charles Barkley?

Should we make that a news story too? Does it give credence to the other POV since white celebrities are against the politically "conservative POV?

The elitist folks you mentioned are all liberal idiots who support anything and everything, because as Gruber says, they are too stupid to know when a lie is planted within their heads.

These folks you mentioned are a great picture of the BLIND-LEADING-THE-BLIND!

As I said before, if these Hollywood types REALLY were behind Fergusons cause .... why have they not taken to the streets of Rodeo Drive and made their opinions and support known?

Think of it, Zaac, all the cameras would be down on Rodeo Drive to photograph these people joining in the cause. But, unfortunately it is the same old thing with the media elite, NIMBY.

Oh, that stands for Not In My Back Yard!

Even Obama is not out on the lawn of the White House carrying a sign that says "hands up, don't shoot!" because he is only in this for the exposure and nt the sweat and tears of the people wh really care. As for Obama - NIMBY, too for Gumby the POTUS!

The problem is that we white folk are told that we need to just sit down and shut up and give black folks what they want because we do not understand the black experience. It is a bunch of hooey but that is what we are told.

Then some honest black folks with some actual integrity comes along and says that in their black experience what the extreme far left are saying about what the black experience is just aint so. Charles Barkley for example.

the far left and a minority of black folks are demanding a change in white folks but just want us to sit down shut up and give them what they want because we do not understand the black experience.

Guess what. It aint going to be so. If we are going to work through problems in this country then we need to have honest conversations. In this case Barkley represents that.

Take for example the following from Barkley:

Here he points out that there were actual witnesses before the grandjury that were black and gave testimony supporting Wilson's story. Yet when Sharpton and yes even Zaac talk about this that is never mentioned by them. Zaac wants to criticize everyone else for being partisan but he has been nothing but partisan on this issue. He wants any black person supporting officer Wilson dismissed and ignored.

    Barkley goes on to say:

Again more honesty and integrity from Barkley. Of course guys like Sharpton and Zaac who are partisan do not want to focus on the details of Barkley's comments. They just want them dismissed like in post number 4 of this thread. Those who are seeking to by pass reality always want the truth dismissed and are cut from the same cloth.

Let's take a look further at attempts to shut down honest conversations:

By the way the comparison to white celebrities makes no sense whatsoever.

Why don't you find some non-multimillionaires to use as an example. First Bill Cosby . Now Charles Barkley. As though their everyday experiences are the same as the average black or white person.

Barkley represents how you think a certain part of the demographic should act. SO you can adopt him as your black poster child since Bill Cosby is now too toxic.

Gosh, I don't care what their skin color was so why would I talk about it? If they gave corroborating testimony of Officer Wilson's testimony, then good for them. The color of their skin is irrelevant except to you and your race baiting.

Pure T foolishness by a man with an agenda. Where have I spoken against any black person supporting Officer Wilson's account? If he was telling the truth, I would hope that folks, regardless of their skin color, would step forward . But you obviously don't understand that.

Gosh, I didn't say dismiss them. I asked why it's a news story that a black man supports the account of a white police officer? And now the likes of you start jumping on the story as though now that a black man has echoed what I said, it's got to be affirmation that I'm right.

    Seek help.

Nice Rev only a warped person could squeeze past logic to refute that explanation.

An NBA star supporting the police is a newsworthy item. A hollywood movie star criticizing the cops and the system they work under is also newsworthy.

But once again, Zaac brings race into it.

Give that man a cigar! You just identified Zaac for the racist he is. Too bad he doesn't put his mouth where his words go, to the streets to join the protesters? Now that would impress me, and maybe convince me that he is sold out to the cause. But like the stars of Beverly Hills, he blogs his walk, but that is about it. No sails for his ideas to blow all that racist wind into.

Like I said, you don't see them protesting on Rodeo Drive? The other night, LAPD only started arresting protesters when they got within shouting distance of Staples Center and the Lakers game, their goal that night.

Can't let them entitled punks ruin a good night at the ball game? It might hurt future attendance and that means less money for the Buss family.

Unfortunately newsworthy is not the issue here.

And once again , either you've gone blind and can't read or you're purposely telling lies.

The very first post brought race into the conversation.

Nope. You are the one who compared Bill Cosby and Charles Barkley.

    And?

How does comparing two black men introduce race?

You don't have to admit it, but everybody else can read and clearly see that race was introduced with the OP.:wavey:

the only reason the story was posted is that some of you think "Oh I'm gonna show them how right my POV is. It's so right that even a black man is in agreement".

Foolishness. Charles will soon come out in support of black people for something and yall will once again think his opinions to be irrelevant.

I already did. His foul mouth and poor sportsmanship did that a long time ago. But we all know, the only reason you chimed in is because Barkley is black.

Then we'll just mark that down as something else you're all wrong about.:tongue3: Does make it clear that the only reason it was mentioned is because some of you think it reinforces your POV because one black man agrees with you.

    Hilarious.
