John C you ready? Please ANYONE WHO does not have the book do not jump into this discussion for you will be ignored. In a Sunday School class, a seminary class or what not, would you just jump in the room and condemn them for reading a book you do not like, can you? Its super rude if you do and people will dislike you.

John I was reading the 5th Gospel by Bobby Conway and although he does make good points here and there, he focuses too much on the sinner and his or her life in the salvation of others. I was reading a chapter on joy and this is painfully obvious. Metzger answers both relational and lifestyle evangelism on page 181 and in Rom 10:17 (NIV) Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

On page 182 Metzler says that we can't rely solely on the accuracy of our theological presentation for we must be in prayer, and he also says that the sole reason for evangelism is the glory of God. Do you agree or disagree? These are Calvinist statements by the way.
