Jeb Bush announced this morning that he will “explore the possibility of running for president of the United States”.

Does this excite you? Disappoint you? Do anything?

Disappointing. He's not a tea party guy; he's not a cultural conservative and he's beholden to big money interests. Maybe it's hoping too much to think we could elect a President like Mike Huckabee, or even Rand Paul, or even get them nominated. Nevertheless, when Jeb Bush is running against the Democrat, I will have no difficulty voting for him.

Disappoints me! I was hoping he would stay out. Frankly though I supported both H.W and W I think a 3rd smacks too much of a monarchy. We have some very capable Republican governors who would make excellent candidates. i am particularly concerned about Jeb's views on immigration.

While I am at it I don't think much of Huck or the uber libertarian Rand Paul!

Having said that I don't vote democrat!

If he ends up as the republican candidate, I will vote democrat. If it is any of the other big name Republicans, I would vote libertarian. Going to take a change in Republican party for me to vote Republican.

The thought of another Bush neocon makes me want to gag. Rand Paul is the one we need to be backing here, not another Bush.

    [add]

...and after thinking about it, it scares the hell out of me. WW3. Maybe this is why the Lord instilled in me to be a prepper....

Though I get this, it is the reason they keep putting out libs like Bush, Romney, and Christie. They know that whoever they put out there, hard core republicans will vote for them. Until there are enough Conservatives who say enough and start voting against RINOs, they will just keep putting them up.

How can you say you would vote democrat rather than Jeb Bush and then imply you are conservative?

For democrats you have a choice between the following leftists/Marxists: 1} hillary clinton the liberal icon of Wall Street Bankers, 2} the ultra leftist warren with her 0.1% native American blood, and 3} motor mouth biden!

It's just great news. I feel like this party is testing my resolve sometimes. No way he gets the nod right? I'm serious. I need you to convince me that this isn't going to happen. I need you to do this for me.

Sometimes you have to send a message. None of these so called Republicans are conservative and a vote for any of them is no different than a vote for the democrats, they just add an R to their names.

If Jeb Bush wins the Republican nomination, we may as well start practicing saying "President Warren". He will never win a general election.

Jeb is owned and operated by the US Chamber of Commerce and their insatiable demand for cheap, cheap labor.

Let's hope that W was the end of the line for the Bush family.

In short, I am no longer behind the Bushes.

Jeb doesn't have a half a snowballs chance in Sheol of winning!! Republicans would be the fools of the earth to give him the nod toward a nomination

In my honest opinion---these need be who should run on the Rep ticket----Rand Paul, Ted Cruz----NOT---and I repeat NOT Romney

For Christmas, I am no longer behind the Bushes.

I like Jeff Sessions but he may be too intelligent.

Some say Scott Walker around here.

I think that Rick Perry has a lot of ability to raise money.

Ted Cruz would have tons of obstacles in getting there. I predict that Romney will be the nominee again. Rand Paul end up being his running mate. stranger things have happened.

Jeb won't run if Mitt does.
