I've got an idea that can straighten this whole "police shooting unarmed black men" thing out.

We instituted Affirmative Action and allowed less qualified blacks to enter college before more qualified whites.

Why don't we do the same thing for police shootings? We can start shooting white people more often, even though they are less qualified to be shot. This will even things out and should make everyone happy, right?

That's not Affirmative Action, Matt. That's discrimination. AA deals with EQUALLY qualified people as regards requirements.

    Are quotas required with AA?

and if two applicants are 100% equal....
one is a black man - the other is a white woman
    Who should the employer hire?

If it's a private company, he can hire whichever one he wants.

If it's the government and there has been prima facie discrimination against Blacks being hired into government positions, then the government should hire the black person.

White privilege never complained like this when and if two applicants were 100% equal....one was a black man - the other is a white anyone...and the employer hired the white person.

White privilege never even complained when the two applicants weren't 100% equal and the black applicant was more qualified, but the white applicant got the job.

If the private company isn't receiving money from the government, they can do whatever they want in terms of hiring.

Do you think the government should systematically discriminate against everyone in its hiring practices except white people?
