Well, according to DHK and other like-minded individuals on the BB, Dr.A.M. stands outside of Christian orthodoxy and has influenced many for evil rather than good. So it's their conviction that we should not pay attention to what Dr.A.M. says.

However, I, as one who abominates the DHK view found Dr. Mohler's article right on the money.

Why are you dragging your war with DHK into this thread?

Thanks for the link, Scarlett O.

Why would Albert Mohler give any weight to the ramblings of a secular magazine's opinion of the bible?

It looks, imo, like he is simply confronting error-which is something we should be doing.

The Bible says that there is time to answer a fool and a time NOT to answer a fool.

I think this is a time TO answer a fool to shine a light on his folly. This anti-Bible article was disguised as scholarship. It should be exposed as very poor journalism.

Other times, when certain celebrities make God and the Lord Jesus Christ to be comedy fodder and ugly comedy fodder at that, that's the time to NOT answer the fool. At those times, their folly is exposed to the world for what it is.

"...if Mr. Jang does control IBT, The Christian Post, and now Newsweek, he seems to be following in the footsteps of another wealthy heterodox Christian leader: the late Reverend Sun Myung Moon. Mr. Moon’s Unification Church (whose followers are known, pejoratively, as “Moonies”) owns The Washington Times and United Press International.

Mr. Jang, by the way, reportedly once taught in a Unification Church seminary....."
