    I read and reread the previous thread. I read the old thread from a while back. I read your OP on this thread and I have just one question for you:

    WHAT IN THE NAME OF SAM HILL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? :confused:

    'obsession' --- a persistent idea that continually forces its way into consciousness ...

    You're right!

    Discovery is to see what everyone has been looking at all the time; but to THINK what no one else has thought.

    “The Lord has made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.”
    “From heaven did the LORD behold the earth: to hear the groaning of the Prisoner; to loose (Him) that (is) appointed to death; to declare the Name of the LORD.”
    “Hide not thy face from Me in the day I am in trouble… In the day when I call; answer Me speedily for my days are consumed like smoke and my bones are burned as an hearth. My heart is smitten and withered like grass, so that I forget to eat my bread.”
    “I have eaten ashes like bread and mingled my drink with weeping… For Thou hast lifted Me up, and cast Me down. My day like a shadow declineth….”

    Don't you think it is a little late in the day for 'new Christian doctrine' to be developing? Do you believe in progressive revelation? I believe the doctrines of the church are the deposit of faith revealed by Jesus Christ, taught by the apostles, and handed down in their entirety by the apostles to their successors. Now, I suspect most people on this board would agree with statement I have in bold. What that church looks like is where most would disagree with me. However, I also contend that since revealed truth cannot change, and since the deposit of faith is comprised of revealed truth, the deposit of faith cannot change.

    Sam Hill is a euphemistic expression.

    You still aren't making any sense.

    He keeps bringing up this idea, on several forums across the internet, with each place giving him the same reactions we give him. I wanted to hear him out to see what he was talking about, but all he ever does is repeat the same verses and phrases and he never explains what it is supposed to mean. He actually stated in one place that if we understood this "bone-day" then the gospels would never be the same to us again.

    He basis it off the Hebrew phrase "etsem yom" which, from my research, never actually appears constructed as such in the Hebrew texts.

    I figure it's just time for the daily trolling. :smilewinkgrin:

    <<<then the gospels would never be the same to us again.>>>

    The Gospel is the "Everlasting", "Gospel of Jesus Christ", "yesterday, today and forever The Same."

    I received no, <<'new Christian doctrine'>> I have no, <<'new Christian doctrine'>> I teach no, <<'new Christian doctrine'>>.

    True Christian doctrine is always new.

    So that
    "I declare unto you the Gospel" which Christ taught, which Paul preached, which also the first Christians "received, and WHEREIN (they) STOOD : by which also we, are SAVED if (we) keep in memory what (Paul) preached unto (them)”: which was that

    CHRIST OUR PASSOVER (was) SACRIFICED for us [“the first, first day ye shall REMOVE leaven (of life)”]

    therefore let us keep the FEAST [“the first day eat unleavened bread”]… And

    God hath RAISED UP the Lord… unless ye believed in vain.

    For I (Paul) delivered unto you most important of all … how that Christ DIED [“the first day they killed the passover”] for our sins ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES;

    and that He was BURIED [ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES for our sins “the first day (they) ate unleavened bread”];

    and that He ROSE again THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES [“much more shall we be SAVED by his LIFE”].

    Now if Jesus’ Bone-Day of his BURIAL was “THAT DAY” Luke 23:54a “the WHOLE-DAY”—“the whole-SUBSTANTIAL-day” on “the Preparation”—“which is the Fore-Sabbath (‘Friday’ the ‘Sixth Day of the week’)” Mark 15:42 “and since it was great-day-sabbath THAT DAY” of the passover John 19:31, then was He Crucified and DIED Jesus on the day BEFORE and ROSE He “the day after the sabbath (of the passover)” : “ON THE SABBATH”.

    Like at the first of all passovers, “that the LORD thy GOD brought thee [Israel as type of Christ] out thence through a Mighty Hand and Stretched Out Arm…” through Jesus Christ by his, Resurrection from the dead. “THEREFORE the LORD thy GOD commanded thee [the Israel of God] to keep (and remember) the Sabbath Day.”

    And so the Sunday-resurrection fable is demolished; and so also the crucified AND buried the same day before sunset EASTER MYTH!

    Catholicism is anti-Christ.

    Sunday worship of the Church of Christ is anti-Christ…

    …not only, but also, because of the TRUTH of Jesus’ “WHOLE-DAY-BONE-DAY”-BURIAL-DAY.

    So with the exception of two SDA and perhaps a handful of 7th Day Baptist, the rest of us are the anti-Christ?

    I believe your cheese has slipped off your cracker. :BangHead:
