While I don't think this is an official portrait, this is what one of his "constituents" thinks he looks like?

I guess when you go by Bobby instead of Piyush, people might think you look like that.

No big deal. Bill Clinton tried to be the first black president.

    Republicans?

Portrait Thurgood Marshall actually sat for, followed by some painting Obama had hung in the Oval Office:

Lots of Thurgood Marshall's portraits made him look white. He looks like an old, white grandpa that any white American could envision as part of his family in that first picture. But he was actually more of a Middle Eastern color of black.

Yesterday, in art class, one of my 9-year-old students drew a picture of me with her and we are standing under a rainbow.

My portrayed me as a stick woman with black hair and pants up to my knees and with no fingers and feet the size of watermelons.

She did get my glasses right - bright red. I LOVE the picture and the sentiment that she put into it. I have it hanging on my wall and will for a long time.

So one Bobby Jindal's fans painted a picture of him and gave it to him as a gift. I don't see any news here.

So what if he goes by a childhood nickname? Do you have any idea why that name stuck with him and why he has always used it? It has nothing to do with spurning his family culture. Everyone in the state of Louisiana knows his real name and his wife's name and everything about his Indian ethnicity and background.

    There's no race issue here.

First things first. About your source from your source:

This is a satire site. They want to be the Onion.

Second: Let me quote you again, "I guess when you go by Bobby instead of Piyush, people might think you look like that." I know you like to present yourself as being on the cutting edge of progressive thought but you missed the mark here by a country mile. That is possibly the single most bigoted comment I've read on BB.

You've bought into all the lies and stereotypes you've railed about and put it all in one demeaning sentence. Do all men named Bobbie have blonde hair and blue eyes? Is every man named Bobbie pasty white except for their red neck?

"...look like that." Look like what, Zaac? What do you see there beside a picture of a man? You can say it Zaac. You already wrote it. THAT is dark skin. Did you type a little Freudian slip? Did your fingers betray what really goes on in that head of yours? "I guess when you go by Bobby instead of Piyush, people might think you look like that."

Gov. Jindal went to Oxford. He is a Rhodes scholar after declining offers from Harvard and Yale. He won 60 of 64 parishes in his 2007 campaign. Follow the link and you can learn more about a man that looks like that.

His wife looks like THAT, too. Forget, as the youngest First Lady in state history, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from Tulane in chemical engineering. But with a name like Supriya she probably should look like THAT.

This whole thread is disgusting. You should be ashamed.
