Would you ever consider naming your son Jonah.

What other Bible names would you NEVER name a child (male or female)

I would never name my son James. My little one is almost 9 years old. When his mom and I discussed names, James was out. I didn't want a Junior.

I wanted his name to be Jameson, which means James' son. That didn't happen, though

I don't think I would name my child Cain.

    Or Brutus.

    Or Popeye.

    Or Olive Oyl.

I don't think I would name my child Nahum. I just don't care for it. Then again, who knows. Or Habbakuk.

My daughter wants to use the name Zaphenath-paneah sometime in life. I'm guessing it will be more likely for a pet rather than a son.

In youth today we were in Nehemiah 8 and reading through some interesting names there. I joked with the kids that my first son will be named Hashbaddanah, and nicknamed "hash-brown."

    The wifey did not approve.

Should the Lord grant us another daughter, we will probably steer clear of naming her Delilah.
