Nicodemus was a Jew. Jesus was telling this Jew in John 3:16 that from hence forth his church would be made up of a people out of every nation in the world. God has always had a select people, you can trace his people all through the old testament among the Jewish nation. Now he has a select people out of every kindred, tongue and nation. The only way you can understand this is to understand the Jew. Jews have no use for gentiles other than to get money from the dispensationalist crowd. The Christ rejecting Jewish nation today think that they are the only ones in the world that are going to heaven. Tell one of them you have believed on Jesus Christ and you are going to heaven and watch the Jew scoff at you.

    Not according to Jeremiah 31:

31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Will Christ ever lose one his loved tokens of grace he died for?... GOD FORBID!... Brother Glen

The video makes an excellent point. As a Calvinist, I would not be able to raise my children telling them God loves them. If my child were to ask me, does Jesus love me? To be honest, I would have to say I don't know, you will have to wait and see some day. And if you want to be entirely honest, you could add that God may actually hate you.

I have a question for the Calvinist brothers and sisters here; All the churches I have ever been in at sometime have the children sing Jesus loves me. Do Calvinist churches make it a point to not sing this song in their churches?

A Calvinist can't honestly say that Jesus loves a Calvinist.

The doctrine of Perseverance of the Saints makes it clear that every genuine believer will persevere in good works, all the way to the end of his life.

If one does not endure all the way, he was never elect - even if he had some form of works-based assurance earlier I life

The Calvinist mantra is "look at your works, look at your endurance"

But does a Calvinist know if he will endure to the end? Heck no he doesn't know.

So the Calvinist has no idea whether or not he's one of the elect anyway

Of course he does.....he's had a change of heart, his mind has been renewed, he now has a conscience. Despite himself in his old form, he now has a difficult time sinning....it might be pleasurable in the moment but it bothers him....thus he is being molded (transformed) from sinful lusts to a better person. He sees all this going on within himself my brother & he knows....despite himself he knows. And whats really fascinating is that he mourns.....not after the old dead person he was, but what he did as a sinner, the problems he caused the world as a sinner & that his sins caused a righteous God to die for his sins & his salvation. Yes, he mourns but he knows deep in his heart that it wasn't him that caused that to happen in himself, but an act of God......there for the grace of God go I. So he knows. Now he cant see into that big book of life that God has, he cant open it and point to the line with his name on it, but he knows he is there. Otherwise we would all be scum bags running around this life ....other words "Sociopaths, miscreants, wall street bankers, etc.

Unless he has been given only that temporary ephimeral grace that God is said, by Calvin, to sometimes give to the nonelect (all the more to damn them with when they eventually fall away!).

Sovereign Grace churches do not play church. Christians are there for one purpose as that is to worship God is song and hear the Gospel of God's sovereign grace to sinners. Some may say do we have anything for the young adult's, the teenager or the children ? yes we do, the gospel.

    This video makes several points.
It is amazing this person was not drooling all over himself as he showed no understanding of the biblical position at all.

Cal churches do not assure anyone who is outside of Christ that God loves them. They will instead stick with the biblical language that God loves sinners In Christ. ....to be apart from Jesus is to be apart from His love....

What if Moses knew of this song that is a golden calf to many.

Should he have told Pharaoh to have all the first born in Egypt sing this catchy little chorus?

Joh 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Did you understand the question? Rehearse it back to me so I can see that you understand the question. Your answer seems a bit out off subject...
