Cool! These should provide for some interesting discussion later on.

Poncho, I assume you'll 'stay tuned' to when Al Jazeera actually begins releasing the documents and let us know?

I'll try. I'm pretty busy staying tuned into Ukraine. Uncovering all Washington and the corporate media's lies about Ukraine is almost a full time job.

A digital leak to Al Jazeera of hundreds of secret intelligence documents from the world's spy agencies has offered an unprecedented insight into operational dealings of the shadowy and highly politicised realm of global espionage.

Over the coming days, Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit is publishing The Spy Cables, in collaboration with The Guardian newspaper.

Spanning a period from 2006 until December 2014, they include detailed briefings and internal analyses written by operatives of South Africa's State Security Agency (SSA). They also reveal the South Africans' secret correspondence with the US intelligence agency, the CIA, Britain's MI6, Israel's Mossad, Russia's FSB and Iran's operatives, as well as dozens of other services from Asia to the Middle East and Africa.

Among the revelations, the Spy Cables disclose how:

So you have embarked on a crusade to save Russia and Putin from the Ukraine. Very noble of you Poncho!

Actually it all started out as a crusade just to illustrate to the readers of Baptist Board that you, CMG and the Rev couldn't provide evidence to support the official Washington/corporate media narrative of Russian aggression and invasion of Ukraine that you're so confident (despite the lack of evidence) is true.

Maybe you were to busy [IMG] to notice that I already reached that goal when CMG and the Rev went silent and you started playing with monkeys and acting juvenile instead of providing that evidence.

Your actions (or should I say antics?) have spoken much louder than your words ever could. [IMG]

You are pathetic. You have proven nothing. You provided sources for your position. I provided sources for my position. You claimed that your sources were credible and mine were not. You have done nothing but engage in an "is so nanny nanny boo boo" campaign. You are welcome to your myth but the post above is blatantly false.

It is not just the "corporate media" that believe that Russia has been the aggressor here. It is all the leaders of the free world.

The "leaders of the free world" all depend on Washington's handouts. Their countries are little more than Washington and Wall Street's vassal states. It wouldn't be politically expedient (IOW, it wouldn't be in their best interest) not to tow Washington's hook line and sinker. Besides, a public show of "solidarity" is not evidence. It's only a public show. Let one or more of them come forward with some hard evidence (which they have not done) instead of head bobbling and posing for group pictures so we can all take a look at it.

Evidently I'm just not as impressed with men holding hands as you are. Would you take the word of a group of people who all agreed the sky is green and clouds are blue without seeing some hard evidence to confirm it?

Me neither. So, SHOW ME SOME EVIDENCE!

    Moving on . . .

You provided some news articles totally devoid of evidence. They were all NATO said this and Obama said that. I'll go find one of them . . . hang in there a minute.

Okay found a good one. Your original post was made 07-24-2014, 05:39 PM

My last post was made Today, 11:31 PM

The rest of the thread can be found at: http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=94580 Note to readers . . . not once in seven months has the Rev provided or offered to provide the evidence I asked him to provide. Then he pops up seven months later only to rant about how I went about discrediting him instead of providing what I asked him months ago to provide? LOL!

And he calls me pathetic?

Be careful Rev, some folks here might still believe lying and making false accusations are pathetic.

Apparently the Rev's answer to this question "Would you take the word of a group of people who all agreed the sky is green and clouds are blue without seeing some hard evidence to confirm it?" is "Yes I would without hesitation!"

You know if what you say is true is actually true there must be some evidence somewhere to prove it. So I would suggest instead of all this posturing and shooting your mouth off you provide it so we can all take a look at it.

Seven months is more than enough time to find it. Times up. So post it. Same goes for you OR.

    On 08-26-2014, 12:57 AM You posted this . . .

I asked you to provide evidence to support this allegation 08-26-2014, 11:55 AM

Interesting note. Boiled down to it's pure essence this is the sum total of CMG's argument all this time. Doesn't look much like evidence does it?

Readers can find the rest of the thread here . . . http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=95197

It's been six months and you still haven't provided the evidence I asked for OR. Times up. So post it.

Put the evidence where your mouth is Rev, or In OR's case where your monkey is.

    On 03-20-2014, 12:42 AM I posted this . . .

That's almost a year ago. So far the only evidence provided by anyone in this thread came from a blog and tweets from members or affiliates of the Atlantic Council. Which I looked into and explained it to be an internationalist "coalition" made up of mostly bankers and hedge fund managers who stand to gain $$$ and power from the crisis in Ukraine.

The rest of the thread is filled up with "snears jeers and smears" but no evidence.

That thread can be found here . . . http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=92615

A whole year has passed and still the people who have been claiming I was and am wrong have not shown any evidence to prove themselves right.

The only thing they have proven in this time period is that they are well practiced in the art of posting "snears jeers and smears" and the occasional vertically challenged but musically inclined furry primate on a caffeine high but when it comes to providing evidence to support their own beliefs they got nothing but "he said, she said, and they all held hands in solidarity and said".

All together now . . . "the sky is green and clouds are blue" but how do we know? Because "they" say it's true!

I wondered about that Salty but I figured you we're just holding off till you or one of your pards found some actual evidence to support the "official Washington narrative".

If you have some evidence that supports it, it sure would be neighborly of you to post it here.

If not for the reader's sake then surely to help encourage your embattled BB team mates who have searched diligently for months but come up empty handed.

Pretty hard to argue about global politics with someone who trusts news outlets run by the Russian government.

But more trustworthy than Fox News.

Just curious, have you ever watched them? I bet you haven't. I've watched both and they do not show nearly as much bias as Fox. I was surprised at how even handed they were compared to Fox.

Also, what you are commenting on is leaked documents, not editorial comment. Rather a large difference.

What I commented on was about arguing global politics with someone who trusts government-run news outlets.

You think it's easy to argue global politics with people who trust the corporate run media so much that they'll believe whatever they are told without having to see any hard evidence to confirm it?

Unless you can provide that evidence you don't even have the basis for an argument. All you have is your comments.

"He said, she said, they all said" may cut it with you apparently because that's all you need to be convinced. I on the other hand need more than some government "official" or TV talking head's word to be convinced.

Can you provide the evidence the others have failed to produce?

Have you found that evidence yet Rolf? Good luck with your search.

You will let us know how it turns out won't you?

And now back to the thread's topic.

    The Spy Cables

    http://america.aljazeera.com/topics/topic/issue/spy-cables.html

The echo chamber: the politics of intelligence

Analysis: Leaked cables reveal spies often share 'intelligence' that furthers national interest rather over facts.

Amongst a trove of documents obtained by Al Jazeera is a secret missive from Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) warning of a dramatic plot by al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

The cable, sent to African intelligence agencies, claims that AQIM has "prospective plans" to create a 60-man Marine Unit in order to expand the group's operational capabilities to the Mediterranean Sea.

"It comprises suicide operatives trained in underwater sabotage techniques", the cable warned, and would use "fast craft as strike weapons ('floating bombs') against seaborne targets".

The cable also described a laboratory in eastern Algeria that developed "biological weapons to be used for terrorist purposes". It told a story of AQIM operatives trying to isolate the "pathogenic culture of pneumonic plague" or Black Death. They failed, and around 40 fighters were contaminated and died as a result of "improper hermetic conditions at the laboratory".

This story was reported via leaks from anonymous sources in media outlets in January 2009. "Anti-terror bosses" and "a security source" were quoted in The Sun newspaper in Britain. A US government official then confirmed part of the story to The Washington Post but spoke "on the condition he not be named because of the sensitive nature of the issue".

This incident may be true (or may not) but there is one certainty; it has not been verified by anyone who is publicly accountable.
