    Thoughts?

Personally, I would rather a team move to LA than a team move to London. It looks like the Rams, Raiders, and Chargers are all zeroing in on LA as a destination, though new stadium drawings for a riverfront stadium in St. Louis may prove to take the Rams out of the running.

    How about a "traveling" team.

that is they play all games on the road?

and they would be called "Americas Team"

    Raiders' fan here since 1/4/1981....

IMO, Mark Davis is using LA, Carson(supposedly shared stadium w/Chargers...yuck) Inglewood, and San Antonio as leverage in the Oakland negotations. I am wondering where Oakland can find the necessary monies needed? Roger Godell has stated the NFL will help with around $200 MM. Mark Davis stated they have $400 MM. Now, where does the rest $$$ come from. There was a rumor of some Dubai 'deep pockets' interested, but I think that was a smoke screen from their mayor who was seeking re-election. She lost, btw. Then there were rumors that Red McCombs was interested, but I think that was if the Raiders moved to SA.

Coliseum City has been trying to keep them in Oakland, but finding the necessary investor(s) has been hard.

Mark Davis wants an ~55,000 seat stadium...

I do think it's betwixt Oakland and LA. But LA didn't pan out the first go-round, and not convinced it will the second time...

Yeah if Goodell moves a team to London. Really would be one huge mistake. But that is just IMHO. As hope a team goes to LA, last team left twenty-years ago.

Was born and raised in San Diego, the Chargers have been trying to get a stadium for as long as can remember... To no avail!... I'm an avid Charger fan and have been with them on their ups and downs. Time to put and end to this mess an man-up. Has anyone been to San Diego?... There is a lot going on in my city, and Charger Football is not high on the city council priority list. San Diego basically a military town. There is a lot to do... Its a tourist mecca. You can't beat the weather. I hear that a plan in in the works but will require the public to cover 65% of stadium cost. Don't know about that... If they relocate... Oh Well!... I just say thanks men for the exciting years and times and Gods Speed... They were called the L.A. Chargers first... Keep the Bolts low key at home... I married a dyed in the wool... Bronco Fan!... I feel blessed... She could have been from the Raider Nation!... Brother Glen

    you poor thang you.
Why? There's more Raiders' fans in the stands when Oakland comes there than Dolts' fans.
'Ups'? :confused:Again, you poor thang you.
Yep. Move'm to London and name them the London in aFog
    I haven't
    And you wonder why?
They have apparently forced all the Dolts' fan outta there because they're few and far between.
Going to a Dolts' game ain't one of'em.
    For what? Flies?
Dolts' can't beat many NFL teams either.
    With what? Pesos?
What? Dolts winning a Super Bowl or the pesos comment?
San Diego don't act like they care if they stay or leave. Who can blame them?
That's what Jonah said right before 'gulp'.
    Years?
And they wisely let them leave.
    They're low-key everywhere.
oh great. A Dolts' and Donks' fan
Ahem, you mean cursed, being a Dolts' fan
Three Lombardi's versus how many do the Dolts have???
    Brother Willis

    Go OAKLAND RAIDERS

    L. A. is a ginormous media market, but it just doesn't seem to appeal to the fans, NFL-wise. Maybe it was because the Rams and Raiders were both there? I dunno. When those two franchises left after the 1994 season, they weren't that good. Shoot, the Raiders have been good since 2002.

I just don't see the L.A. fans being enthused about the NFL when they have baseball(Dodgers and Angels), college football and basketball(USC and UCLA), NBA(Lakers and Clippers), hockey(Kings) already on their docket. That's a lot of sports to soak in.
