    Not what the Congresswoman expected.

Isn't it against board rules to cut and paste without attribution?

If you are going to copy the work of another person you are required to cite the source.

Also, I went to her facebook page and saw nothing of the sort.

Is someone just making it all up?

Uh, the link has all the information you could want, author, date, links - what's the problem?

I too went to the Facnook page, worked fine. Trying to scare people isn't helpful, the voters called her out on it.

It was edited after targus' complaint.

Thanks for pointing that out Bro Curtis.

Board etiquette would dictate that CTB admit his error when adding the citation after being called on it.

But what can one really expect?

I expect the same rules to apply to him as everyone else. Apparently I'm in the minority.

So CTB's source is no better.

How many responses did the Congresswoman get?

Wee are just supposed to take some random person's word that most responses were negative?

Newsflash - Obamacare is a train wreck.

And it is only going to get worse as it goes into it's death spiral.

The same arguments could be used for every opinion piece that RevMitchell links to, yet I never see you on those threads worrying about the source or validity of the information.

The last quote in the OP could be taken to heart by a lot of people here.

"Why don't you ask for people to tell their stories instead of just asking for the negatives? If you honestly want to help Americans you need All the stories and weigh what's best based on the facts not based on what you want to hear."

I really don't participate on the board all that much - hit and miss. It doesn't seem like a reasonable on request your part that I should comment on every topic.

Besides which, I went to the facebook page in question myself and there was no evidence of any survey question.

At this point I have no reason to lend credence to the OP at all.

And surely even you know that Obamacare isn't what it was purported to be, isn't bringing down premiums, is costing taxpayers a boatload of money, and is only going to get worse.

Oh yes, and it is really poor insurance to boot.

I talked to a young mother at work on Thursday. After the subsidy their premium for a family of four is $1200 a month with a $9000 family spend down. How about a little math. Premiums for the year total $14400. The family is responsible for the first $9000 of health claims. That is $23400 before Obamacare pays for a single bandage.

Median income in our county is $45047. Subtract the 23,400 and the family gets to pay a mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities and eat on the remaining $21,647.

If that is compassion we all need new dictionaries.

An example of what is meant by "health insurance is not health care".

There are plenty of stories of people with Obamacare who don't go to the doctor because they don't have the money to get past the deductibles.

Many people will drop out of Obamacare - causing the premiums to go up to cover those loses - causing more people to drop out - and so on.

    The Obamacare "death spiral".

Considering the sketchiness and source of the information, it's hardly worth mentioning either way.

I noticed not a single negative comment was listed.

Wonder why? Didn't get any? Hardly.

    Crabby,
Do you know why your posts have no validity? It is because they are all based on the premise of a gap between Democrats and Republicans which does not exist. Try reframing your posts on the gap between the two parties on one hand, and the Constitution and a Holy God on he other.

Obamacare is the greatest achievement of the Democrat Party under Obama and that is the reason that they had to name it Obamacare after the messiah himself.
